I have to disagree with your take

I think Mcleroy is better than just an average QB
in fact, hes good. He does not call the plays so its not
like he is the most exciting, but by far the best QB Bama
has had in a long long time. He is accurate and has poise

LSU hasn't showed me they can score...and against one of the best...if not the best D in the country...I doubt they suddenly wake up...bamas rested off the bye and should cover this.

Also like to add with what Gold is saying, Chavis is not a blitz happy D. Coord... He likes to let his D-line do the rushing.... Against non Blitz happy defenses G-Mac has been very good... The last 3 games have been against blitz happy teams and that is why his number have dropped off...

again John Chavis D will make an impact play or two in this game, he knows Saban and the offense inside and out

Bama will win the game unless the LSU D makes a play , but , i have seen over the years when Chavis and Tenn were underdogs come up with plays against QB's that are not household names.

He's d's don't necessiarly do it against big time qb's (tebow ,etc) but agianst avg qb's he d's come up with big plays in big games

tenn and fulmer had a very strong run as underdogs for a number of yeras and a lot of the credit for those outright wins had to go to the Tenn D

When I saw the line, I laughed....I thought people would load up on LSU... and they did as is evident by the line drop.  Sucker bet as LSU offense is horrible.  Granted they played Auburn tough...but give me a break its Auburn plus night game at LSU.  One thing to remember is Saban is around .500 coming out of bye week yet feel offense will be tired of hearing crap about how they suck and it will be break out game.  Bama RUNS away with this game. GL

Early in the season Alabama was the best team in the country but they look terrible of late.  We'll see how the week off treats them.  They look atrocious on offense and they will get destroyed by UF if they don't improve.  Alabama has regressed. 

I'm not a fan of UF at all and I hope Alabama crushes Tebow but Bama looks beatable...

Bama has a legit D, there is no debate there. And I don't see how recent history between these two schools holds up today.

But as delusional Hawkeye, I'm rooting for LSU. Even though I want my Hawks in the Rose Bowl and not in this years championship game.
