I wouldn't call this the perfect game to sit them. No SEC game is ever guaranteed, except for maybe any against Ole Miss this year. The "perfect" games to sit them would have been either of their upcoming games against Western Kentucky or Ole Miss.

You do realize how much variation there is from school to school regarding drug tests and the punishments for failing one, right? You don't get suspended on the first failed test at any SEC school that I'm aware of and its up to each school to implement their own individual punishments. I've known of similar situations where the school has held off half a season before suspending a player. Its all very subjective...too subjective. I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying as far as the perfect game to do it if there was some set timeline to follow, but not w/o one. That being said, none of us know the exact details of this situation or any of the other similar situations........which is something that's bothered me for years, but obviously what bothers me doesn't really matter to the NCAA or anyone else....LOL ![]()
