Worrying signs: Are 'some' College Football games becoming like NFL scripted drama plays with NFL refs and unsual play calling creating a scenario of lost momentum for the 'hot playing team' so that any key game can come down to the last 2 minutes or 30 seconds?
I watch football a lot like many of you. Why am I seeing what I am seeing especially with key moments in the big games lately in College Football? YES, I have seen it in past years in 1 game every few weeks but not every weekend.
- I want to see this pure sport preserved and not tainted like most pro sports
- I want to see underdogs rise up and snatch a Top 5 rank with refs performing at their highest and fairest
- I want to see normal decision making by coaches especially when points are immediately involved by their decisions
Got that out of my system!
Georgia and Alabama should be co-#1's after the refs botched that game! Unfortunately, my ratings system nor the Playoff committee would allow that but whether any other team can be squeezed in between them remains to be seen and the Buckeyes will have their chance to make a case, or the Irish depending on how they win and get better through the season. Miami has to get over their hiccups each season and Indiana, well, I am not sold on Hoover but the other components they have on their team are quite solid .... I think they should have lost that game but again, another team that got help from the refs!
Georgia's defense is sooooooo good (NFL like near the lines and defending against a team getting a first down), and realize for a change, they have 3 capable running backs and a gutsy QB who can do more than Stetson Bennett in my opinion when he was at his peak as a smaller QB but with greater receiver talent around him. DeBoer and staff planned their asses off for this game and it showed ....man, Alabama is talented!
I did not see the Dogs running on Bama in my idea of how the game would have gone because the Bama secondary looked weak this year at times.
Week 6 for me:
7 - 1 (+7.5) *** 15 - 2 in the last 2 weeks on SIDES/TOTALS (my ESPN SP+ variance system is working!)
Season = 25 - 18
-note: so many good cappers this year and thank you for continuing your success....I use many plays in my parlays but my totals and sides are almost never copied, I find them myself with my head down trusting what my system provides me with options and then it comes down to decision making (** Thank you Wahoo for providing one of my side plays and thanks to you some of you for inspiring confidence for me to grab your suggestion to be used somewhere in my maze of parlay plays that I make locally for $5 - $10 or add to a TEASER which I won't do again until we get to bowl season)
-ColonelJim, you have become a new favorite to watch for as a thread and GeneralWiz, MAN you have to seen a lot more >>what a nice suggestion on Nebraska and number you got! (I hope you are pressing on plays like that)
