Too much money riding on Boise St & the ML & the over. Great pay off by Vegas' home state. I'm just kidding.

There were some terrible calls by the refs but Boise had a shot at the end but couldn't capitolize.  I thought the first kick at the end of regulation was good, ive seen worst kicks that took the same route called good.  Anyways, this was very much a "Vegas" game.  Good night

his kick, make or miss, didnt affect the spread which is what the majority of the betting public bets on

ok... i want to start with a disclaimer, because i don't really believe this is true...


however, unlike the majority of people, i do not discount the possibility of such things off hand... i think it is ignorant to assume that it isn't, given how much money is at stake...


having said that, i will give you  some ammunition... after that long bomb, there was about a 5 minute stoppage for the refs to review whether or not Titus Young caught it...... but why?  that was obviously a catch...

up in the replay booth, they watch the play, and if they see some reason to review it when they watch the replay the first time, then they will stop play and review it...

what the hell could those replay officials have POSSIBLY seen that would give them cause to stop the play and review it???

point is... could a phone call have been placed during that 5 minute window?  i mean... i can't even remember ever having seen a kicker miss two point blank FGs like that in a game... let alone doing it when either kick could have won the game...


one thing that i can't deny is that the entire scenario was incredibly bizarre, and pretty much defies explanation (including the review of that catch)...

no.... but it sure as hell effects the BCS picture... and there is a lot more money at stake there than their is on one football game...

not to mention there could have been a ton of money on Boise ML... bettors look for safe plays too often, and i can imagine a lot of people saw that as a "safe play"...

Note that I just said "I'm just kidding". But the Money Line or the Over is something you should look into. Or even the "kick return interference call" seems like a bad call.

I'm just saying this game goes into one my suspicious vegas game.  He probably choked, but the ref job was totally obvious, the muffed punt, the pass int for nevada, non pass int called when the WR for Boise was clearly grabbed in the facemask.  Too many bizarre stuff occured in one game, that is all im saying.

Nevada's coach didnt even look happy when they won. He knew he didn't deserve to win.

first, the official review had to be done because it was such a big play with time running out and the player hitting the ground with the ball. watching live how do you not review it to make sure

secondly, the kicker BARELY missed it above the post. its possible that depending on the angle it was good. not a good way to purposely miss a kick. its a lot more likely that a college aged kicker got overly amped and pulled it high and hard.

Boise came out in the 3rd and played like they thought they had the game, running on 1st and 2nd down on the first few possessions. They lost their momentum buy not being agressive.

ref's weren't reviewing if it was a catch, they were reviewing how much time is left on the clock. if you noticed they put an extra second on clock
