Enter Lincoln Riley....who, knows how to prep a team for a matchup, even if his defense has underperformed. 

Last year, Beavs pounded the rock for major yardage. This year, they are playing a balanced play call attack and throwing the ball a little more. 

USC has pounded teams. There is a new feel within the dressing room. The game is major revenge.

WHERE ARE ALL THE USC lovers that I have been seeing for weeks now posting how they should be a TOP 4 contender and for sure top 10 team.

Well, if you are, you cover the spread and win by DOUBLE DIGITS.

Go lay that bet, I won't, but might change my mind in game when I see how fired up the USC defense is.....because that is who will dictate the outcome here on this game alone.

Line is showing -5.5...... POUND IT! This goes to OT, who has the better chance of controlling the outcome? Oregon St is not ranked in the top half  for pass defense OR run defense!

Not really a revenge game...Different Coaching staffs and a lot of new players starting for SC that was not there last season.....If the line stays as 5.5/6..I am all over the Beavers...USC's D is not good....

You live for threads like this....am I right? Been watching you correcting almost everyone but you never seem to post any plays. In fact, you haven't posted any plays that I can see this season How come?

Anyway, I thought I would drum up some discussion here and maybe a gem angle on whether to go with them or not. Wahoo was bang on early in the week when he said the 6.5 was a stinky line and USC money is pretty formidable isn't it.....?

Just for fun, I might take USC Saturday night for some action since they have won by 28 and 13 vs reasonable competition but not Top 40 competition. 

I find it damn interesting, that Massey has Beavers up to Rank #25. Have you put money on the Beavers?

#7 team in the country 3-0 SU and ATS....Now linemaker's could have made the line 7.5/8?.....Instead they open it up 6.5? now its down to 5.5/6.   I am with the line movement...Can it lose and USC win by 14-21..Absolutely.....But I was watching the Fresno/USC game and Fresno moved the ball with ease..between the 20's but the points just did not show up on the scoreboard.......even with the back up QB they moved the ball easily....I also think Caleb William's is a tad bit overrated..

No way USC deserves #7 ahead of Penn St. in my books! I don't even look at Top 25 unless the number appears on my matchup game.....I make my own AFTER a couple or few games are under their belts

Have a look....very interesting....USC not even in top 25 and Oregon St much further down relative to how they are performing vs their competition, and the offense they generate and the offense they stifle

Last week had some significant influence on this I bet namely .... underrated  and moving up > Washington, Syracuse, S.Alabama, Tulane, Penn St, Kansas, USF and E. Michigan

Dave’s spot on about the line.. it screams USC. They’ve been playing lights out and are favored by less than a tuddy? It should be USC -10. That’s some fucking bullshit line..

Usc has covered 3 straight spreads I’ve taken them 3 weeks in a row and like this line better than any of the previous 3. They’ve always had the talent but now with Lincoln Reilly and Caleb williams they should be able to Beat any pac 12 team

 nah, I have seen this trick too many times .....you are on USC hard or Beavs smaller for a hunch. Its why I created the thread. I am not hearing too many pounders on USC like I heard in the first few weeks

If you put a gun to my head, Sunday night, I would have bet Beavs but now that the line is dropping, I think its b.s. and might now put this on my in-game watchlist and have some fun Saturday evening after my horses are done. Saturday night is one of the biggest nights at Mohawk.... 2x $Million races and a bunch of others for $300 -500K

Last week, Penn St. was -3.5 @Auburn.....they have looked real good this year (again early in the season) and got no respect and blew away Auburn on the road by over 25 pts?

USC should handle OregonSt with the transfers, talent, change in philosophy and approach to games this year and are proving it...is Oregon St. better this year or worse or the same. They are the controlling variable in this experiment this week. I do see they are not running the ball quite as much as last year

Again, why is this line so skinny? Its fishy and you either pound USC here or you go small on Beavs or stay away completely from this game

I have said from the beginning USC is a different team this year, and i also said they could easily be in the NC, but being an SC alum, i actually tell it like it is, and here it is, they could easily go undefeated , there schedule includes all teams they can handle and probably will be favored but here is the rub, i DON'T believe they can handl1.GEORGIA,2.ALABAMA,3.MICHIGAN.,4 OHIO STATE, everybody else is fair game. But these 4 teams can score and can play defense, i feel they would be DOGS against these four...we are headed in the right direction but are at least 1 or 2 years away from the dance...

  They would lose 59-10 to Georgia or Bama.. it would be like Sam Darnold USC game vs Bama 5 -6 years ago. USC does not have the guys in the trenches.  Dont be fooled u and i know they are not the #7 team in the country.  That is a joke.  Pac 12 is the worse conference of the 5.  They are weak. USC is another 2 classes away from contending however Riley always had a soft amd weak defense. Those boys down south are just on another level.
