Who has Indiana played that is making you think that they will be able to contain Michigan and Robinson?????

I mean Michigan has played 2 quality teams in UConn and ND and 2 average teams in Bowling Green and UMass...

Indiana has played 3 teams with 1 win!!!!!!!

Michigan should atleast win by DD

surely you realize 2009 Michigan is much different than 2010 Michigan.  Defense has grown up a little(a lot more to do) and the offensive players seem to have finally 'got it'.  Indiana has always been a bottom tiered big 10 school and the players they suit up shows it every year.  what of indiana's defense?  you surely cant see them slowing down Shoelace

The UM defense is actually worse, statistically, this year than last year..

Also, in comparing UM's Offense this year to last year..

In the non-conference games in 2009.. UM averaged:
511 total yards
319 rushing
193 passing
41.8 ppg

in 2010:
562 total yards
319 rushing
231 passing
41.2 ppg

So, while the UM passing game has seen some improvement, the rush game is roughly the same and they are averaging the same amount of pts..

Not sure why I'm arguing with a clear homer, but still.. UM's D is just awful.. Chappelle will throw for over 300 easily..

should read 331 rush yards in 2010 to 319 in 2009..

Ok but I mean for an overall win.... do you really believe that Indiana will be able to beat Michigan????

My teaser makes them a str8 win pick and I believe that Michigan cannot look past Indiana and will not. Last year they started 4-0 and got beat in the start of Big 10 action. This year I believe will not happen.

UConn wins over Texas Southern & Buffalo,
ND 1 win, 
BG  1 win;
UMASS win over Stoney Brook, William & Mary, & Holy Cross

Yeah, how could I have "missed" the difficulty of that schedule.

Actually Michigan started Big Ten action last year with a win over Indiana to make it 4-0 and then lost to MSU.... so I was wrong but still Rich Rod will not over look this team because they must keep winning to keep his job.

To be fair, I think UM easily looks past this game to next week when they host Sparty.. UM hasn't lost 3 times in a row to MSU in quite some time..  all the UM alum and fans I've spoken with (went to MSU)- say they can't wait to kick our butts..

Indiana should have won LY on the road.. UM and RR are awful on the road.. not to mention line has dropped 5points in 2 days.. 

Feel free to play UM, but I'm not sure how you can justify that to yourself, esp. laying double digits with one of its biggest rivals on deck

Last year v.s. IU, "Shoelace" ran 11 times for 24 yards.  I know that was last year, but at least this IU defense is somewhat similar with what they'll be seeing Saturday.  I'm not saying IU shuts them down, not saying that at all.

I bet this game because:

 IU can score on offense and Chapell should shread that secondary. 

RichRod has been awful in the Big Ten. 

RichRod has been awful on the road.

Michigan could very well be looking ahead to MSU.

IU almost won SU last year as a 18-point 'dog in AA.

IU outgained Michigan by almost 100 yards last season.

Oh yeah, and I'm getting 11.5 points

Dnorman you are such a homer. have fun betting on michigan this wknd. you clearly know nothing about this team and are on the shoelace bandwagon. fact is shoelace has done good against shitty opponents. The irish suck this year they are not good. Indiana is not bad and the secondary at michigan is horrible. They are not gonna be able to stack the box to block the run because if they do that chappel is gonna have a field day on those weak corners. Also i would say that many plays on indiana are good enough to be on michigan they didnt come here for various reasons like many players the past few years. I mean why on earth would you wanna play on arguably one of the shittiest teams in the big ten right now?

You can make whatever arguments you want about who played who but that doesnt matter. what matters is the matchups this wknd. Michigan is coming up short on these matchups and i think they can win but they do not have a good shot at winning by more then a FG. in fact since the odds are so juicy im backing indiana ML to pull off an upset and shutup the shoelace is awesome and espn folks.

All Michigan has to do is win the game..... not cover but win, they have a -1/2 pt..... that is what I am basing my bet off....

Still think they could lose.. in terms of other games I'd be more comfortable betting in a 3 team teaser..

Wilk you are paying 10 point teaser juice on a team that hasnt shown anything why do you think this is smart?

I mean i'm actually from michigan and i was watching these games on ABC. All the teams michigan has faced they havent looked strong against. in highlights they looked like world beaters but in the grand scheme receivers were left wide open for big gains numerous times. The running game aganst michigan wasn't all that bad considering the fact they didnt face one great running back id be worried about their upcoming schedule.

Why are you so quick to lay chalk on a road team that is greatly overrated and unproven??

Having 6 wins against the dreck of college football does not mean much IMHO.  But if it makes you feel better about 'your'  team, who am I to rain on your parade.

Because it is a straight pick and if I had to pick Michigan vs Indiana then I pick Michigan..... its as easy as that.... Indiana's rush D is worse than Michigan's pass defense..... not to mention the fact that Rich Rod must win this game because if he does not and then loses to MSU, he absolutely must win vs OSU or he is gone!!!!! I am just stating the facts

GT has dogged on the road against a really bad Kanas team and barely beat a depleted UNC team.... so sorry but that pick is worse than a Michigan pick game

FSU is playin a very opportunistic Virginia team which played well going across the country vs USC earlier this year and ACC teams play much better at home than on the road

Iowa is not a lock but a good pick

Minny can easily get beat by 17.... 2 Persa runs or throws and a  Demos FG who is a very good kicker can easily beat that..... Northwestern is alot better than people put them...

Florida has not found themselves but I do like the +18.5..... but one big quarter can really make this game ugly..... the Gators are not the past 4 season Gators......

It is very hard to tell me that my 3 team teaser is bad when you have 5 teams..... gotta give me 3 teams buddy not 5!!!!!

This is based on what?

LY at home, Indiana had 467 total yards, 200 rush yards (averaged 6.0 yards per carry), Chappelle went 21/37 for 270 and put up 33 points..  UM is ranked 100th or below is almost every defense category this year.. care to explain how UM'd D will stop Indiana's O?

And if you guessed that as a final score- you'd be Under by a TD..

dude if you think michigan is gonna win the battle in the trenches you need to do a lot more research. This isnt even worth my time i got beer to drink and a tigers team to root for. Bet michigan tell all your friends to bet michigan tell people michigan is the lock of the year. It only makes my play on indiana better because i\ll get a better line or more value. ML for indy is only 320, i'd love some more value there. But i'll easily take Indy to hold this game to within a touchdown at 5% juice.

wilk you dont know shit about michigan football quit listening to espn analysts they dont know shit about rich rods situation. He does not have to beat OSU to keep his job thats an unrealistic goal. The team just has to show an improvement over last year and that things are headed in the right direction. Straight from the athletic directors mouth before the season started.
