Boise up 17-7 ball on their own 10 yardline 1:15 before the half Oregon with 3 timeouts . 

DONT ALLOW THE MOMENTUM SHIFT GOING INTO THE HALF..

No chances deep in your own territory. Run it 3 times make them use all timeouts. 

Punt/ play a soft defense and give them the field goal. 

Summary: Oregon gets it back with just under a minute with 2 timeouts.

Bad, if this game was closer. Definitely would be down a remote

But the Boise state head coach would still thank god for the opportunity and the love he has for his players for all the might and hard work they put into this game. Never seen a head coach who’s thanked god as much as the Boise state head coach does. Not saying it’s a bad thing, but for how much he says it, almost comes off as fake.

Had he did that, and Oregon still scored, people would be up in arms for not being aggressive. It cuts both ways.
