guys its pretty late here but..I wanna ask about ND.

Question

With what ND has shown this season and how inept they look on both sides of the ball. How does anyone in their right mind have the confidence to put even $1.00 on them.

Now please don't take this as a bash on ND. I'm really looking for some insightful feedback. I mean from what I've seen Notre Dame looks absolutely deplorable. How is this week going to fix the fact that:

Clausen has ZERO protection and is being tee'd off on after every snap?
-6 net rushing yards for the day?
No offensive TD's in 3 weeks?
Having the score run up on them every week.

Just because this is a "so-called" rivalry game doesn't erase the fact that the Irish really look lost out there. Really! Being an SC fan its really bittersweet to watch ND lose week after week. However after watching last week I genuinely felt sorry for them. (as crazy as that sounds). Is taking ND a contrarian play here? Its the only angle I can think of.

Feedback anxiously welcome. I mean..i was looking to hit Mich St. hard here. What am I overlooking?

The only reason i took them is because with 41% of the picks on ND the line started at +14 and went to +10.5...at first i though WTF is this!!! I know this is ass backwards because I really cant handicap this game because every angle would line up for MSU to win 77-3. Why did the line go the other way....I know 41% is not that lop sided but this is ND with the 1-4 stats you gave above. I is not a big play but i just followed line.....bad handicapping i realize this.......

before you play mich state...make sure you find reasons why ND can cover and win

if the game was so obvious at -10.5....think about what number would make you not play this game or move to ND...is it 14? 17?

cant see how ND covers giving them 21 Maybe Jesus shows up and runs for them Mich ST will roll them like a good cigar no pass protection for the best high school QB ever out of QB combine and no exp WR leaves them hoping there paper mache defense will score at least 28 but lets not bet on that.

I believe Mich St is top 5 in sacks and tackles for loss. With ND&#x27;s weak O-line, MSU should be able to tee off all day on Clausen. Add to it the huge revenge factor for MSU and I think they cover convincingly...

YOu know come to think of it...I&#x27;m really starting to think all this&#xD;&#xA;action on Notre Dame is simply based on the insult they feel that ND&#xD;&#xA;viewed as a DD dog against a rival.   &#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;Well i&#x27;m sorry people but gimme a break.  After the past 3 weeks and&#xD;&#xA;how they&#x27;ve performed they could arguably be the WORST TEAM IN THE LAND.&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;Any reason to argue otherwise?
