Just got back from Buffalo Wild Wings. Place was packed with UGA fans all going on and on about how they were going to beat LSU in Atlanta. The thing that really annoyed me was that they would also say shit like "even if we lose to LSU, at least it's the SEC that's going to the title game!!!!."



You think Sooner fans cheer for OK State or vice versa? Or Sooner/Texas, Michigan/Ohio St, Miami/FSU, etc, etc. Here's the deal Georgia fans:

1. You lost to Boise State. You aint shit.
2.  LSU-Bama is going to happen no matter what. Bama only has to beat Auburn (which they will) and it's fuckin over. Bama-LSU rematch.
3. All the talk will be pointless when LSU beats you 30-13 anyway.
4. Only thing we learned today is the SEC is again overrated. The SEC is Bama and LSU. That's it. Arky is the 3rd best team in the nation and they get murdered? Arky would lose to OU, OK State, VA Tech, Boise, Wisky, Mich St, etc etc etc.

Negative.  LSU is just that much better than everybody else.  Period.

They will dismantle UGA next weekend, and the dawgs may lose SU to the jackets tomorrow.

I do except for the arky/sec overrated.  I think arky either beats all those teams you listed or is involved til the very end.

Nobody can hang with LSU and that defense, not even bama who supposedly is the 2nd best team.  If we get a rematch watch LSU blow them out of the building.

And yes the uga fans will be convincing themselves all week long how they are somehow going to be the ones to beat lsu.  They haven't played any teams the caliber of lsu, ark, or bama all year.

Tiger fan only agrees that LSU will dismantle UGA. He's an Auburn fan and supports the SEC otherwise. He is also delusional about the Dawgs losing to the Jackets (as I would be if I said the Tide would lose to Auburn).

Aside from that Ranger, bet against the SEC in all the bowl games LSU and Alabama don't play in and see how you come out.

Seriously, congrats to UGA for this season's record. The option tmrw with give them some problems but they will win that game. And, yes, LSU will smoke them by 17+ in the Falcon Dome!

jackets give everybody issues with the triple option because teams don't face it week in and out.

uga is in a tough spot here.  yes it's a rivalry game but which game are they more focused on, and out of conference ho-hum game or taking a crack at the #1 team in the nation next weekend.

and yes big unit lsu will pull away by 10+ in the rematch with bama unless mccaron magically transforms into john elway over the next month.

Yes - we lost to the Boise, ranked #5, and yes we lost to SC, ranked #9 at the time.  And yes SC will lose tomorrow.  
and yes we're going to the SEC championship - EVEN though we lost 2 games.  And yes, we're happy because we didn't expect to be there.

 And yes, in a rematch right now, we'd kick the chit out of the IRish...so go cry some more in your green beer!  IT's great to be a GA BULLDOG!

another UGA guy here with out a doubt.  went to school there and even though I was drunk more than I was sober, I did manage to stay long enough to get a degree...still not sure how some 30 years ago. So, with that said, Georgia is not going to beat that team out of Baton Rouge.  No way...they are really, really good and I don't mind saying it.  When your good, you are good and those fuckers are good.  Go look at who the dogs beat the last 9 games to go 9-2.  it is not an impressive list, sorry.  Having said all that, we will load up a bunch of buses in Athens and make the drive down hwy. 316 and show up...that I also know.  LSU will need to bring what got them to this point to win, but if they do it won't be close.  I am a Dog supporter, but certainly not delusional.  I think the Tech game tomorrow will be closer than some think. Bama rolls in Auburn...Auburn a year or two away in a re-loading process, but they will be a factor again soon.

I'm a dawgs fan also and there's very slim chances they beat lsu. You sound like a disgruntled fan who thinks if your team had a chance to play lsu they would win.

it's kind of fascinating to watch you turn LSU from the #1 team in the country, to the #1 team and nobody else is even within a mile of them... simply by invoking the "SEC is so much better than every other conference by so far that, and LSU is so much better than the rest of the SEC, that the gap between LSU and all non-SEC is almost mythical" line of reasoning...

gimme a fucking break!  i have come to the conclusion that the SEC has now officially become the most overrated Conference / Division / or any other kind of assemblage of teams in an athletic setting, in the history of mankind...

even if they are the best, they are still MONSTROUSLY overrated due to all of the ridiculously blinded SEC knob gobblers who think comparing the SEC to the Big 12 is like comparing the NFL to the MAC...

Can't argue with what mudpie has to say.  uga-gt will probably be a close battle, and I just don't see how au hangs with bama.  we are too young and still a recruiting class(maybe 2) away from reloading.

No ice what i said if you go back and read is that nobody hangs with lsu.  I don't care what conference they are playing in.  Irish seems to think that since lsu is dismantling everybody in the sec that somehow the conference is overrated, which is baloney.  As I said, lsu would destroy everybody no matter what conference they played in this year.  They are step above everybody, bama included.

YEAH, UGA is rebuilding actually.  U know like the IRISH has been for 20 years. Really WHEN is the last time that NOTRE DAME has been relevant.    LOSES THIS YEAR:  NATIONAL POwer : SOUTH FLA, MICHIGAN, and USC with all that depth.  
BIG WINS :  Boston College by 2, MARYLAND, WAKE, NAVY,AND AIR FORCE.  The irish are fucking horrible, nobody wants to go to school there NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

We look forward to a rematch with LSU. We don't get tired and stop tackling like the Hawgs did. Any kind of defense out there and Bama would be playin Georgia.

Dawgs have beaten Tech 8 of last 9, and the one time was controversial, and the Dawgs will not be denied. Make it 9 of the last 10.

Oh yeah, we are lookin past Auburn, cuz they are shit, but they always have 3 losses and talk shit every year--last year they get a pair of missed FGs and have a QB that caught the SEC off guard who played just 6 meaningful games in his college career and was given the Heisman, and they snuck in and got an overrated Oregon team. We won't hear from them for another 20 years now.

Watch out boys....GA isn't overlooking anyone.  Tech gets their doors blown off today.

Not a homer play...6 ain't enough.

I've watched Tech a lot this year, and they're a 2nd rate football team that probably couldn't beat their meat without a slide rule.
