Oregon has literally accomplished NOTHING of merit as a football program other than win the award for best uniform combinations.
Add in the fact that both Jimbo Fisher and Nick Saban coached on the same LSU team and are from the same coaching tree, how can you really think that Oregon/Alabama would be the "best game?"

Florida state has hung on to win games against inferior opponents time and time again. They aren't elite they just have scraped by

Why can't he? He is entitled to his opinion as he CLEARLY stated. Sure, you can argue all you want with your historical perspective but it isn't some kind of gospel. Some people just want to see fresh faces/teams or match-up with drastic difference in style. How's that so wrong and unacceptable as you make it sounds like?

FSU did make history in the Rose Bowl, so he has a point.
