After watching some of game… I just don’t understand how these coaches don’t see that it’s a tad different game today… Stanford coach called plays like he had Emmitt smith or Larry csonka … it will not do today… if your qb simply cannot complete a pass… find another off the street…. Fake handoff left… roll right… and buy a second more so the qb can complete a 12-16 yard pass…  put in 6-8 varieties of that this week… because Stanford’s coaching creativity level was a 1… on offense… get to a 3 this week please… I’m not talking run n shoot… I’m talking a pass play that helps most involved… and call it more than once a game…. With a limping qb… Stanford lost that game be cause their offense was just too bland…. And today that won’t do it… how these coaches continue to find jobs shocks me… if ya hire him… tell him to hire some younger fellas that are creative… blend over time… and ya might have something… Stanford is 0-1… because they are bland as fook on O…..  rant over.   Just my 2 cents.

Hawaii has always have a loose, undersized line haven't they? 

 

It would make sense if you've got a regular program with big dudes that can push people around to stick to the run and try to play ball control.

 

And yes, Stanford hasn't had a good QB in years. And no, it's not that easy to find a Division 1, Pac-12 QB off the streets.
