Let's look at a few angles going on this bowl season.
Vandy (SEC) beats NCST (ACC)
Clemson (ACC) Beats LSU (SEC)
Baylor (Big 12) beats UCLA (Pac 12)
Oregon (Pac 12) beats Kansas St (Big 12)
Oklahoma St (Big 12) beats Purdue (Big 10)
Michigan St (Big 10) beats TCU (Big 12)
Texas Tech (Big 12) beats Minnesota (Big 10) no cover
Louisville (Big East) beats Florida (SEC)
Mississippi has hung in there in most of their games in the SEC besides Georgia and the rout by Texas. They beat teams they were suppose to beat. Losses were to @ LSU 35-41. Vandy 26-27. Georgia 10-37. Texas A&M 27-30. @ Alabama 14-33. Texas 31-66. Besides the two blowouts, pretty impressive hanging in there with LSU, Texas A&M, and Alabama (score was 28-14, pretty close considering it's Bama). All that doesn't translate into much, especially since I picked Louisville against SEC Florida.
One thing I've said is that most SEC teams have no QBs and if a team has one, they can do well. Like Bridgewater / Manziel has done against SEC. Just do some research and you'll see that any team with a legitimate passing attack, has a chance against any a SEC defense and without one, the percentages aren't good.
I think Sunseri is a horrible QB. Panthers are so inconsistent. With Mississippi, they've been consistent, problem is that some teams are just flat out better, by far which results in their 6-6 record.
Give me the SEC team seeking revenge for their conference after getting embarassed on the national stage against the Big East Pitssburgh Panthers. I'll also take the over 54.
Mississippi -3 (before it goes to 3.5 unless it already has)
Over 54

sunseri can't pass for garbage, don't be deceive by numbers. he is not a passing quarterback. he's a game manager at best. i've seen sunseri for the past 3 years.
don't bet against pitt because i think their qb is a bum? qb play is HUGE in capping any game. manziel, boyd, bridgewater, lynch. klein. difference between winning and losing is usually the QB. big conference, small conference. many other reasons factor to my play on ole miss if you read
