No i tried looking for a big adavntage and could'nt find one I really liked. I have the smallest lean on the under as well. But im not a fan of playing it...

The RedHawks defense only really allowed 3 long TD passes thats it...

Definitly thought I was toast though after that 27pt 1st qtr. Sometimes it's more than good to be on the sides of the books.

1st play is:

Florida State vs  Virginia Tech under 52 for 20 units... It's been quite a rebound of a season for the Hokies as they looked to be in self destruction mode starting out their season 0-2su and 0-2ats with a loss to Boise St followed by a loss to James Madison. They have since recovered quite nicely to say the least as they have went 10-0su and 9-1ats following those first 2 games. They have done so with a very solid performance week in and out on the defensive side of the ball as they have only allowed 16ppg during that stretch and playing to the under @ 6-4 ( their last 5 have all stayed under). The Seminoles are their opponent in this Championship match-up as they to have also been channeling wins through their solid defense as they have only allowed 17ppg this season while playing to the under in 8 of their 12 games this season ( 5-1 to the under in their last 6). Both of these teams depend on getting their running game going to help generate the passing lanes for their QB's. The bottom line here for me in this ever so important game was this is the 38th ranked defense vs's the 37th ranked defense. I fully expect to see these defenses take over this game and look for the winner of this game to not exceed scoring in to 20's IMO...POD

Also on a side not in the existence of the ACC championship game the Hokies have been here 3 times of the 5 games that have been played as Frank Beamer has been able to hold his opponents to an average score of  16.6ppg winning the Championship twice already. I don't think Beamer will be changing his approach in his 4th appearance in 6 years in this one...


Putting my 7-1 record on the line this season with 20 unit plays with this under selection...

2nd play is:

Southern Methodist +9 for 50 units... I am convinced right now that George O'leary and the Knights have created a spread for this game that is so very incorrect. My reasoning is the pancake schedule they have played all season as their sos rank sits at 96th after their regular season finished up. Their opponents total combined record this season is 54-78su while the 8 division 1 schools they beat this season are 31-65su, thus more than leading me to believe that laying 9 pts to a team with a very solid offense is way out of line IMO. UCF's out of conference schedule went as follow's win over the non D-1 school on South Dakota, loss to NC st, win over 2-10su Buffalo & loss to Kansas St ( They seem to struggle against teams with a pulse). June Jones has been quite the find for the SMU mustangs and although their sos is only 8 spots higher than the likes of UCF @ 88th (rightly so as they play in the same conference) he has this Mustang offense playing very well as they rank 32nd overall (20th passing and 76th rushing while averaging over 28ppg). June Jones and SMU clobbered Nevada in their bowl game last season in only his 2nd season as head coach @ SMU and asking his team to compete for the win within his conference is more than realistic IMO. Also the Knights are just 3-4-1ats this season as favs of a fg or more and 9pts in this one is just too many. I am not going to be shocked at all to see the Mustangs win this thing SU...POY

Ughh... I was hoping your 20 unit play would have been a side and not a total.  The Over here was gonna be one of my big plays tomorrow... now I'm gonna have to reconsider lol.  I like to go against trends and Va Tech has 5 straight unders and FSU has 3 straight unders.  5 vs 3, with only like 59% on the over.  I have a feeling this total is going to be decided late and someone is gonna get moosed (more than likely me lol).  May lay off, we'll see!

The rest of the card is very tough IMO as the public plays will start to become even harder to cash in on as we all seen with the Huskies losing out right as the over failed to cash last night. It happens every season just have to try so very hard not to fall into the created traps that are set and last night was a monster trap.

Speaking to this I came real close to playing the under in the Pitt/Cincy game for a nice size wager but then something about Zach Collaros and under just scare me. He has never been a QB that can be relied on and he alone could very well change the outcome of that game on just a couple of plays and it became almost unkown on how to approach placing a wager on a game like that when Cincy season is over after that game (just too many question marks). I also came very close to placing a wager on the Sooners laying -4 but the same type of situation kind of presented itself again as Landry Jones has been a little erratic as of late and underestimating the Huskers defense could be a big mistake especially in a big time game. I'm still searching for other possibilities but their is more than enough money wagered right now especially with my beliefs in SMU tonight to get the job done...

I just cannot pass up the situation that presents itself along with the defenses that come along with it. I can though say I have placed an even bigger wager on the SMU Mustangs that im sure you have now seen. But my POY record so far in CFB is 0-0. And just for the record I have made 2 selections in NFL of this stature that im 1-1 on cashing in on the Giants once and making a huge mistake on playing the Eagles on the road @ the Bears which backfired on me big time. But any play can be deemed a mistake after it losses and we should all know this. I feel real strong about SMU's chances tonight and i'm acting out on this with aggression to say the least...

Im surely thinking about it. My issue actually is I have so much on the pt spread that im not sure i can justify placing more on the game. A good example would have been lets say I bet 4-6 units on Miami (ohio) last night a 1 to 2 unit bet on the ML would have been more than understandable. Here I have pulled out my louisville slugger for a play and lets just say the +9 losses which has to be thought into reality ( as much as I love fantasy world) then the ML wager goes with it so because I have so much on it im most likely going to pass on it. Now if I was only on this game for 10 or less units than yes i would most likely be placing a small wager on the ML...

That does'nt bother me at all and im actually glad you brought it up as I failed to mention it in the writeup. I just have lots of confidence that UCF success has been determined by playing very easy competition throughout the season. And having this game played at UCF actually may value this bet even more thus the reason we can get more pts as I think SMU would be playing with the same confidence on a neutral or home site as opposed to the home field of UCF.
