No play for me on the total. Just riding out this Miami play which I feel good about. They have not allowed 1 rushing yard yet in this game...

Thursday night action:
Alabama-Birmingham +23 for 20 units... This is a much inflated number based on USM's earlier success this season. I'm not going to argue with any who attempt's to say how good USM is or how bad UAB is. The bottom line here tonight is UAB has picked up some momentum and much needed confidence heading into tonight's game as they dropped 41 points and 601 yards of offense in their last game vs Memphis. I don't care how bad the other team is when you throw a 600 spot up on the board in the offensive department your doing something right. Only 2 other teams have put up more than 600 yards on Memphis this season (Miss ST 645 & Arky st 611). Not quite the formula for a USM team that stopped a 2 pt conversion from UCF with no time on the clock that would have won the game. Look out here as UAB has momentum in their favor and should be able to keep this one well within the number...

I'm sure most are going to react on UNC's bad showing against NC State along with Va Tech's nice win last week over Ga Tech. I would tread lightly on that game either way as there most definitely is a let down possibility for Va Tech. I also feel kind of the same way about Memphis that I do with UAB as they seem to be playing better football as the season progresses, while Marshall has been pounded on the road this year weather it was against good teams or not they just don't travel well...

I think the Jets are an inferior team. They are also on a short week on the road and they have a QB who's not much better than Tebow. It's the under or a no play for me.

UAB seems to play a lot better at home. I don't know why because they won't have 1,000 fans show up. Southern Miss will definitely out-draw them tonight.
