CFB picks and Why

I think there are some very good opportunities today.   Let's look at some numbers:

     Oreg. st   21 29 15 44

-14  Oregon   2 16 5 57    

Oregon opened at -14 (madduxsports.com) currently either the same or 13.5  .   Oreg is better in Total off at 2 vs 21 ; total Def at 16 vs 29; Sagarin rank at 5 vs 15.  Oreg st is slightly better at sched strength at 44 vs 57.     

When I look at previous games where the line was 14 and the scenario is similar - history tells me to take the Ducks as they should definitely cover and most likely blow them out.   

My plays today:

1. Oregon -14   

2. Cmich +10  

3. New Mex ML   +174   

4. Texas -14   

5. Memp - 13

6. Boise -7 

7. 3 Team 6 pt teaser  Penn st -16.5 to Memphis -7 to Oreg -8    pays 1.5 to 1

We did alright yesterday - let's see if we can get it today.   Let's look at some numbers:

      Sjst  55 42 62 74

-3  Unlv 41 77 63 120

Unlv opened up as a 3 pt fav currently -1.    Unlv is better in total off at 41 vs 55, while Sjst is better in total Def., slightly better in Sagarin rank at 62 vs 63 and sagarin sched strength at 74 vs 120.    

When you compare the opening line of 3 pts for the home team and this scenario to previous results - many of the results indicate the away team takes it su.    I hate buying points but did because i like getting the opening line or as close  to it without having to pay too much.  Also a couple of data points indicated the game diff might be 1 or 2 pts.    My Plays:

3. Bama - 13 - 115  

4. Wisc -3   

5. Az -13 -115
