I do not know about all of the PAC-10 but USC always seems to have the hottest.

This, obviously coming from someone who bet against the pack of p****y's tonight... wait, let me check....Yep, you did!
Sorry for you loss, but a little more respect for the pack 10 and you would be have a little more money in your pocket...

You're funny....USC loses 1 bowl in the last 7 and you pick it out?...lol...I believe when they won their last title..they were on the road...
BUT...this thread isnt about USC...if you want to argue that USC is overrated, than you truly show your stupidity....this thread is about the rest of that conference...the 5-0 Pac 10

ForDav: That's not what I mean. I like USC a lot, and really respect the job Carroll has done down there. They should have beat TX several years back and that would have made three titles.
It just has sucked the last few years that USC loses late in the season and can't get into the champ. game ,whereas others who lost early can make it. Instead we have to suffer through some boring champ games, like FL /OH St. I love watching smash mouth football, and USC can bring it. I would love to see them play the offenses like FL and OK. Now those would be close games, and hell USC may even lose. Playoffs would settle this, but I just don't ever see that happening -even 20 years from now. It's a long enough season as it is - these teams play 13/14 games a year.

And also I am just sick of Notre Dame. They pissed me off last year when they lost to Navy. I miss those good Notre Dame teams. Lou Holtz always had his guys prepared and geked up. Nowadays, it just doesn't seem like bowl teams are well prepared and coached. Miami had terrible clock management for that two minutes and a half. Maybe that was the last straw to get Nix fired, but to me the blame starts at the top with the head coach. He could have run out and called time out.
Sorry ForDav. Just getting frustrated watching these games. Miss the old days. Like those Jimmy Johnson Miami teams, Barry Switzer teams, Osborbone's NEB teams, FLA St, even some of Paterno's teams. I grew up in Charlottesville, VA and Welsh even had the UVA teams prepared.

First, the Vince Young game was at the Rose Bowl.
Second, USC won the 2004 BCS Champ on the Road in the Orange Bowl against Ok, and another BCS Bowl win on the road at the 2003 Orange Bowl.
Get your facts straight. The bottom line is until we get a playoff system we will never know who the real Champ is. This year is a perfect example of that.

What good win does USC have on their regular season schedule though? I'm not just an SEC homer, but when you beat an Ohio State team minus their best player, get exposed on the road at Oregon State, and have maybe one legitimate conference win (Oregon), there's not much of a leg to stand on as far as getting into the national championship. I think USC is playing as well as anyone in the country, but to say they deserve Florida's spot (which you implied in the original post) is absurd. Florida has wins over NINE bowl teams, including the #1 team in the country in the SEC Championship. It's not much of an argument, especially when you bring media bias into it.
