In terms of trends, Ill follow them if theyre legitimate. But, to take an under because a dozen other games went under? No, thanks. Those games have absolutely nothing to do with the BC game today. And, apparently, others agree because the total has climbed to 58.

Happy New Year too, bud-thanks for sharing your wisdom...I agree one needs to look deeper in streaks but the Pac 12 short of last night is showing dominance, hence Ucla should take care of VT today...and it Stanford should as well tomorrow...

OR, are the O/U lines inflated in the bowls because vegas knows they get more over money every year... Also, with all the spread now a days you have to be better at assignment football, extra time to prepare helps with assigment football (why the option usually doesn't do very well in the bowls... )

Very good points....I believe extra time off and preparation may very well have something to do with the outcome of the totals.
