Had a wager on an anytime touchdown for Indiana Defense tonight. Obviously they blocked a punt and scored on the same play. Fanduel is not paying out on this wager because they consider it a special teams touchdown and not a defensive touchdown. Meanwhile, the option for a special teams touchdown is not even an option. I confirmed that with their chat agent.
Since when is s blocked punt TD not a defensive score?

All I can say is that if you’re gambling at a sportsbook that grades it that way then you’re the one to blame. Most books offer odds on defensive/special teams touchdown. Indianas special teams scored a touchdown and so you got royally screwed. But if you didn’t know that beforehand then you just made a bad bet.

That’s a tough one. Usually see defensive and special teams together. I would have thought that it would have paid too but yeah technically that is a special teams TD.

Any play involving a kicker is considered to be a "special teams" play no matter what defense is on the field. I've been around awhile and it has been that way as long as I can remember....

Have you guys not learned by now, people were complaining about the same thing with an NFL game a few weeks ago i think it was Seattle vs the Rams or one of those teams involved. And it was the same book. And the same one doesn't void 1st quarter injuries on player props apparently because everyone was complaining about that too.
Let me give you some advice from a land where gambling has been legal a long time: these companies are awful. Some are worse than others.
If I was American I would avoid fanduel like the plague.
But guess what you'll find out all these places will do even worse things when it suits them like refuse to pay out at all, and ban your account completely if you win consistently. They only want losing accounts.
Then you have to pay tax on your winnings over there, too. Which is absolutely nuts. Can't say I miss the place much but at least when I lived there and betting was illegal you didn't get taxed.
