bads week #4---- leans + plays

 Too many in team issues on an over rated Big East squad for me to think they can hang with a team that just played a relatively competitive game with the 2nd or 3rd best team in the country, on the road.  Pitt played New Hampshire and were lucky to get the win.  The coach is an embarrassment to coaching at any level, and his team is starting to look like the Canes of old.  One police blotter incident after another.  Only thing that Pitt has going for them is home on Thursday night, and how long can that trend hold up.  Be careful with the over bud, not sure that either team is ready for a shoot out.  Very important game for the Mia program and equally important for Staches "criminals.  BOL whatever you do PG, I know where my hard earned dollars are going.  Hope you didn't take offense when I was kidding about killing Bambi.  Used to hunt but would rather sit around and get stoned in my old age.  BOL bud.

Not a big totals player but if there was ever a game that I thought I had capped right for totals it this one   Tulane / Hou  under 60 for 2 units.  # 3 QB for Cougs and Tulane?  Houston has shown a pretty good running game so far this season, lets hope they keep it up.   BOL to all.

Idaho -7 . I have been traveling the past few weeks, and been working 60 hours a weeks, so I haven't had time to do any write-ups, but I won a pretty large bet on Miami of Ohio last week, playing my Rams.

This Colorado St offense is probally the WORST I have ever seen. They are really young and inexperianced. Pete Thomas, thier true frosh should be good, but Fairchild is using him with kid gloves, and doesn't allow him to strech the field. The O-line is undersized and slow. They can't run block and can't pass block. They haven't been able to decide on a running back, and are keep switching week to week, with no success. No back would succeed behind this O-line.

They won't score more than 13 points on Saturday.

It is AG Day in Fort Collins, and their should be a sell out crowd of....31,000!!!  Along with an ORANGE out, but it won't matter.

I have seen Idaho play twice this year, and they are a pretty good team, not great. They played tough against a much better NE team, and handled UNLV convincingly. Natan Endrele manges the game pretty well, and moves this Vandels team nicely. CSU has a pair of really nice LB's (Ricky Brewer and Alex Williams). But the true bad ass of this defense is Michal Sisson, and has been battling a knee injury and won't play. The secondary is full of frosh and soph players, and are slow as shit.

Idaho wins 30-10

This is the only game I am playing this week and going as big as I did last week. I will be sitting in the Alumni section with my CSU Aggie Orange and cheering my ASSSSS off, but this team is just bad.

HaHa...Last year was bad, and this year is worse. He has said he is going to give his young guys plenty of chances to play. CSU has played 13 freshmand this year and it shows.

I love the young talent of the team, and Fairchild has had 2 pretty quality recruiting classes in a row, so the future looks bright, but this year I am not sure the Rams win a game.

BOL this week 222

Stay focused bro.  This week should be better now that teams are starting to settle in.  Vegas will still put out funky lines but they should be easier to spot now.

Second largest play of the week;  Idaho Vandals  -7 (bt 1/2 pt)  3 units.  I guess I'll call it insurance, but for thirty bucks it's worth it.  Only have to pay if I lose and don't think that's the case in this game.  The line at 7 1/2 alone for the home team, screams they want us on Colo St. at home.  Not biting.  Thanks for your input cgonzo.                                                                                                                                                                                                              

No problem buddy! Like I said before, my heart will be rooting for the Rams, but my head and my wallet will be on the side of the Vandels. (I bought the hook to 7 too; don't think I will need it, but always nice to have just in case).

222..tell us how you really feel about the Stache?

I was at Pitt vs NH, they were not lucky to win, it was 31-3 at one point, that being said, I locked in Miami -3 and the Under at 51 earlier in the week.  Stache isn't the worst coach, but he isn't good enough to beat Miami tonight.

I hope I am wrong, I will be there watching, lots open at 2:30, I will be drinking my Vodka by 2:31.

222bad...just posted in Sizzle thread wanted to drop you a line also.  He is a pretty good dude once you get to know him, he has helped me see the other side of things, not that it changes my picks, but it makes me think beyond just the numbers.  Also, a thank you to yourself, you are one of the better guys around, no bs and love so good sports talk and analysis.  You have been a big help to me and I believe represent what Covers s/be all about.

222...locked in Nevada at -3, now BYU starting a true frosh at qb and did you see their injury report, they have several defensive starters questionable, not good when going up against Nevada.  I know its a tough spot for the Wolfpack, but this is not the same BYU of old.

Also, really like Baylor, locked them in at -7, Rice still rebuilding low line from the fallout of TCU's dismantling of Baylor.

GL bad  u mentioned that miami played competively against OSU, but with the exception of two gift return TD's for the canes, that game was a blowout...Harris was awful, but give credit to the OSU defense, I dont think he plays that bad tonight, but i just think the Panthers come within a FG or win this game

Thanks for the well wishes, PP.  Probably over stated Mia's play at the Shoe, but considering the venue, and the fact that was Mia's first game of the year, on the road for that matter, think they did show improvement over last year.  Their defense kept them in that game, forcing Buckeyes to settle for fgs, what, 5 times? As far as the return TD's for the Canes, that has to be figured as part of the game, especially on a team that has always had some of the best special team players in CFB, as that goes with great athletes. All in the wording I guess, just think if not for the 4 picks Harris threw, Mia could have stolen a game they had no business winning outright. Also think that this game will be close all the way, but my thoughts are that in the end, the defense that we saw opening game, the athletes, and the speed of the Hurricanes gets to the thin Panther team, for a TD or more win. That was my thinking anyway when saying I'd take Mia up to - 6 1/2.  This Thursday night home dog trend has to end sometime, and seeing this is a long week of preparation for the Canes, not a short week, no  a better time than tonight. Wish we were on the same side bud, but know we are on it with your Boilermakers, so thanks for giving me the shove to make them a play Saturday.  BOL in the week and season ahead.  Can't wait for CBB.
