There is actually talk that they'd consider drafting Luck and trading Peyton. I think that would be absolutely ridiculous but Luck is the biggest college prospect since Elway. Warranted? Probably not but that's what he is.
Bill Polian came out and said they WILL NOT trade Peyton.
And Peyton has come out and said he believes Luck should start day 1 for whoever drafts him like he had the chance to do. At this point I see the Colts trading the pick and collecting a few 1st rounders and 2nd rounders for it

Right now he is 19-27 176 yds. 3 td's 1 int and his team is winning big. What more do you want? He is not a 400 yd passer, not his style. Main thing coaches like, he CONTROLS THE GAME. But again, what do you want from him?

Against USC, one of the top defenses. 29-40 330 yds, 3 td's 1 int, and a VICTORY, on the road, at USC. And you think he's overrated. He's not Superman, but that's pretty damn good.

He's a very good college quarterback playing in a lousy conference. He'll be an average to below average NFL quarterback. His arm strength is so so and he's got very slow feet. The stuff he gets away with playing shitty college defenses will never work for him in the NFL.

Its self explanatory....whether the Colts or someone else drafts him, Luck is going #1
well... i guess maybe it's a matter of semantics... but in my opinion...
if the Colts draft Luck #1, but trade him down for someone else (most likely Richardson)... then i consider whoever they traded for to be the real #1 pick, because that is the player that the team with the 1st pick ended up with (and therefore truly wanted)... they would only be drafting Luck for the value he has in trade...
similar to the Eli Manning - Philip Rivers trade... as far as i'm concerned, Eli Manning was the #1 pick in the draft... because if the Giants had wanted Rivers, they wouldn't have traded for Eli... that means the team that had the #1 pick, considered Eli Manning to be the best player...
if the Colts have the #1 pick, and end up with Richardson, it means they considered him the best player (at least, for their team)...
maybe it's splitting hairs, but that's the way i see it...

He's got slow feet, kinda like Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger. Like that?

Watching the game, I would love someone to show me where the open targets are. ANY qb would have a tough time completing passes to these scrubs.
Exactly Outside of the easy 6'8 target in the redzone...and the other pretty good TE (who I think is hurt) Stanford has AVERAGE TEs and WRs. Give Luck the 2 top picks in Marquise Lee and Robert Woods and see what his numbers would be. I bet if Stanford's offense would be alot more vertical. But this is the reason why he will be successful and Barkley more then likely (in typical USC QB fashion) will not.

Right now Stanford has 227 yards rushing 233 yards passing. Who do you think calls the Stanford plays? One Andrew Luck. Again, what do you people want from him?

trading Peyton Manning would be sheer insanity! you don't build winning organizations by trading the Peyton Mannings of the world...
But he is also is the ultimate competitor who more then likely will not leave when its his time to go. Peyton has also gone on record as saying Luck should start day 1 and that if the Colts traded him he has no problem with it. Thats when Polian came out denied the rumors. So drafting Luck and letting him sit (as most expected) seems to be out of the question now. Either way the Colts can revamp their team with the trade of Luck. Now its up for some team to meet the hefty asking price.
Im hearing three 1st rounders, and a two 2nd round picks. Or two 1st rounders and a franchise player (in the case of the Colts a LT would be welcomed) and the two 2nd round picks. Depending on how good or bad Luck is in the off season the asking price with the 2nd rounders could be motified to a 2nd and a 3rd or two 4ths.
