If Bama wins like I think they will, I think both of these players go over the total.

I would say OVER on both, but that's kind of hard to predict without knowing what Notre Dame's defensive strategy will be. If they bring everyone up close to the LOS, it could be tough sledding for Alabama's running game. I don't think they'll do that. I think at least initially they'll try to stop the running game with 7.

Jimmy i have to say you are going to be upset after this one! Sec schedule is not notre dame schedule! That was proven this bowl season! So your matchups are biased and will not translate into a 34-6 win! Notre dame 3-4 defense will be just fine! I would be more worried about your o line holding up against nd talented front 7! Coukd not disagree enough with u! When I was a michigan homer early on that was my heart talking until i finally admitted bama was alot better! That is not the case here nd is good and so is that defense! They held michigan to less points than did your bama! Another note bama defense aint all that! Max bet is a stretch but good luck as i have no dog in the fight!

Jimmy great write-up, im on the ither side, i see a close game...does it bother you that when Bama played the three really good teams on their schedule they didn't cover the spread at all and almost lost all 3?? They didn't exactly dominate LSU and Georgia. Not saying ND dominated anyone but they don't have to, they just have to not lose by 11, either way GL

Idiotic statement. By the way- the SEC is 5-3 in bowl games this year. And one came against your beloved Wolverines. Please tell me how Notre Dame scores? Bama's weakness is it's secondary but N. Dame won't be able to expose that. Saban will load the box to stop the run and dare the Irish to throw the ball. Pitt gashed the Irish run defense and Bama's running game is much better. Bama also has a legit QB. And you say Notre Dame's defensive line is underrated? Are you nuts? That is where everyone is saying the Irish strength is at. And if you think Alabama's offensive line is overrated then you truly are crazy. I can't stand Saban or Bama but this is not a good matchup for Notre Dame. I think they can keep it within reason with their defense but I see something along the lines of 24-10 or or 23-12 for Alabama.
