Good read Jimmy 
Both these teams will try to impose their will in establishing the running game... The difference in my opinion is that Bama will be able to make a few big plays, which will be beneficiial in the field posistion battle and possibly hit a few for scores with the play action pass... This definitely favors Bama... McCarron has 11 touchdowns this season off of the play action pass.... Golsen has zero....

I think the difference is that Alabama's offense can threaten any part of the field at anytime, and that is something that Notre Dame has not faced all season.

At least i finally woke up and agrred with you the first time! By the way the above poster that said nd barely beat msu is an idiot! Msu never crossed the 50 yard line against nd! Dumb dumb dumb! Back to us jimmy i like your thoughts i just cant fathom bama dominating nd in the trenches to a tune of 34-6! Nd o line and d line are both abive average! Gholston seems to be the typical if we plays good we win pick! I disagree ans will say nd back four are they key to nd sucess just like bama sucess! Both squads are capable of getting beat deep! I just like the playmaking ability of nd defense better! I love teo and he isthe only reason a die hard michigan fan is hoping for an outright win! I have so much respect for this kid!

Nd has one this in common with lsu and thats defense other than that lsu is horrible on offense! Nd is not horrible on offense nd is much better coached on offense than lsu and nd has better talent than lsu! Nd matches up favorably toniht!

LY's LSU team was so much better than this ND team. LSU's had a front 7 *better* than ND and a phenomenal secondary.

You really are clueless aren't you-If you think this years ND team is better than LSU last year than you are very mistaken! Alabama had one of the best defenses ever last year. You went back and watched every game for both teams this season, and this is what you came up with? You go from questioning whether or not Alabama will convert their drives into TDs to predicting them to score between 27-34?
Could've saved some key strokes and just typed your prediction. Your analysis doesn't offer any more than 3 minutes of college game day.
