Bowls : 36-28-0 +455.10 units
Hard to believe I turned a profit in the Sugar Bowl, mostly because I was off on the total in that game. It felt like four losses. I was very surprised by the scoring last night. I don't hate Saban or Alabama, but it was good to see them get manhandled. Some perspective for the coach and the players and great for college football as a whole. Split the full game wagers, winning the side, but losing the total and split the 2h wagers, winning the total, but losing the side. Bringing home the small profit was hitting on the AJ McCarron prop, which came in slightly above the juice.
Orange Bowl
Ohio State -2.5 (120 units to win 114.29)
Clemson/Ohio State under 35 first half (100 units to win 95.24)
I like Dabo Swinney as a coach and I like the offensive talent on the offensive side of the ball for Clemson, but it's no coincidence that each of the last two seasons this team has lost to Florida State and South Carolina. Maybe talent has much to do with that, but I think it's more about coaching. Simply put, Fisher and Spurrier are better coaches than Swinney. And tonight, Swinney gets Urban Meyer off a loss. His first loss as coach of the Buckeyes. With no disrespect to Fisher and Spurrier, Urban Meyer, prepares better than they do. Big advantage for Ohio State. On the field, Ohio State owns both sides of the lines if they want. Boyd and his talented receiving crew will only be as good as the time his offensive line gives him. tOSU will come after Boyd, but Meyer will change it up and that will be the difference in this ball game. There is talent all over the field, but schemes and strategy will win and Braxton Miller will shine. I think it's great that Clemson rolled up a total of 363 points against SoCarState, Wake, Syracuse, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia Tech and the Citadel, but size, speed and coaching are in a different stratosphere tonight.

larry - good seeing you buddy. I think Mizzou comes out strong off that mauling at the hands of Auburn. Also, Franklin back very close to home and its a good recipe for a strong start. I'm not sure they can sustain it, but see how first half plays out.
Metallica, avenue - thanks guys
docterd - good to see buddy. Let's get it tonight
