SF...i know i'm insane betting va on the road, but i just think this line is a result of these two teams' recent performance compared to how they were expected to perform rather than actual matchups and talent. md had a pretty good couple games, but how good is ga tech really? the rutgers win was impressive, but they did catch rutgers in a situation where it was there first game with any comparable talent on the other side of the ball, and the changes that they made before that game couldn't be prepared for. virginia's road woes of course scare me, but they aren't traveling that far, and dropping the wyoming game along with a few other close games will have them focused and they are far from taking this game for granted. even though they have been underperforming compared to expectations (especially for bettors) and don't have very good off or def rankings, they still have been winning if you take away the wyoming game which is a tough place to play especially when the team is traveling 2000 miles or whatever. they've found ways to win and will be very focused. add in a few md injuries, and i think they have a good shot at winning, because in my opinion they have better overall talent.

Rice ranks 117th in the nation in overall defense and 118th against the pass. Memphis ranks 64th in offense and 41st in passing. It dosent get much better for rice on offense ranking 109th.

i know that's def debatable; but just my opinion. md doesn't impress me at all. think it will be a close game and i'll take my chances with the points. however, i haven't had the best luck in the acc this year and tried to write it off; giving it one last shot though with a couple of numbers that i think are pretty off

gmo, thanks bro...to give a little insight as to why i like arky st...as SF alluded to they can run the hell out of the football with two good backs. they have a solid passing game as well. defense is not great, but what defense is in the sun belt. in their loss they had i believe 11 penalties for nearly 100 yards and three turnovers. they gave up a 13 pt lead and the wheels fell off (i had ul monroe in that game) the game after that they blew ull out. i look for this to be a shoot out, but arky should be able to control the game and the tempo a lot more with the superior running game against the putrid run defense of mtsu. in my opinion arky state is the best team in the sun belt in terms of talent, and i will most likely be on them next week vs troy. gl

as for navy i think they will definitely be able to run the football and put up points on this wake defense, and their glaring weakness on defense won't have the opportunity to be taken advantage of with wake's offense. this is a very important game for navy, because if they get this big win at home, they could have an excellent season with the teams that they have left on their schedule. i like how that qb with the long ass name i won't even attempt to spell has grown throughout this year in terms of making good decisions with the football, and i think navy has the ability to put up points on pretty much anyone. in games where they are facing an offense which they can somewhat contain, they have an excellent chance to win, and that's what we have this week.
