Living in the northeast, I have seen a lot of Big East play. Over the weekend I watched Syracuse loose on their home floor to a overrated Villanova team. Syracuse is a big team, and Georgetown struggles more against big teams. Look at their performance against UConn's big man. Georgetown will likely win, but will not cover. This will be an emotional game with a national audience (ESPN @ 7pm). Syracuse will show up. Take the points.

Syracuse +12 (2 units)
vs. Georgetown - the Orange lost a big one to Nova at home a few days
ago, while the Hoyas blew out a Fighting Irish squad. Syracuse has the
big men to keep up with and handle Hibbert, they just need to stay away
from foul trouble in order to do it. Georgetown has struggled against
big teams too (ie UConn, Pitt) but have also blown out a Notre Dame
team with Luke Harangody on the floor. Basically it all comes down to
fouls for the Orange today, they need the depth and fresh legs to stay
with the Hoyas. The last 2 conference road games for Syracuse they
went 0-2 ATS and 0-2 SU, they'll need to improve those records in order
to make a run at the Big East title. For the physical, defensive style
that is the Big East this spread is just a tad too high as the Hoyas
win by only 7 today.

I'm having a hard time on this one...wanna lean towards the Hoyas...'Cuse are young and on the road against talent they tend to fold...I know the Hoyas have a lil trouble with big bodies but those 2 games this year were against good Pitt and UConn squads.

Hoys win in another blowout. But this number is way too high on this game. Hoyas play good defense it is a television game and as one capper pointed out to me not too long ago weekly televised games outside of some teams that just can't help themselves, aka Gonzaga, generally go under.

bought 1.5 to 13.5 Hope the orangemen can hold on for the cover!! Great write ups obes definetely helpful. Thinking about a 3 teamer for the holiday cuse +13.5(B+1.5), Tex -2 (B+1), bulls over 204.5(B+1/2). Risk 220/1002!! Gotta consult with the pea-nuts downstairs first Thoughts?

Cuse fan here and I totally agree with Cowboys95. Syracuse going to find points tough to come by tonight. I love the UNDER. Also, think Georgetown may struggle some to score so leaning towards Cuse +12 (although that mayb be due to bias). The UNDER is def a good play though regardless of who wins this game.

Have you seen what they do in DC? Cuse will be lucky to get 65... Hoyas never set out to blow out teams, they're content with winning and that is what they are very good at on their home court... 142 1/2 is too much given that the Hoyas make teams play their game and theres no way this game gets that high...
Hoyas win 71 to 63

Did take this game but after watching the first half I think Georgetown will finish off Cuse and cover easlier. With Syracuse only playing 7 or 8 players Georgetown's D will be too much.
