Tonight will be like a home game for UK, their psycho fans follow them everywhere. Gym will be 95% blue and all those people will be extremely loud and obnoxious as well.

As I posted yesterday (before longtime posters got me second guessing myself), part of my logic behind UK is that they should clearly win and once they start winning, their coach keeps the foot on the gas. He didn't let up the other day and I hope he doesn't let up tonight. Going toe to toe with Texas demands no respect from me.
I really, really, really hope this one hits...

while I agree about the crowd..........this KU team, after an easy victory, will be more arrogant then ever tonight...........to them, they are the best team in NCAA history..........at some point, this will bite them in the ass.....just not sure that night is tonight

Wake is an enigmatic team. They could win outright here just as easily as lose by thirty-five. Never quite know what you're going to get with these guys, they are very unpredictable.

Is it because they have momentum after beating an awful and poorly coached TX team that missed 4 free throws in OT?
Is it because you are smarter than the book?
Wake is a solid team?
KY will have a let down?
Good match up for Wake vs. KY?
Don't forget, Carolina covered EVERY game in the tourney last year. Lots of people lost thier ass trying to outsmart the book on UNC .
you seem to be starting with the assumption that it makes some sense to compare this Kentucky team to last year's UNC team... or even that Kentucky is a sure thing to win the championship...
which are, both incorrect...

I like Wake because 9 is a lot of points and Kentucky is still very inexperienced in big games despite their talent. Here was my write-up in my thread for that game:
4. Wake Forest +9 -- Far
too many points for a good team against an inexperienced albeit
talented Kentucky squad. How many times have we seen the 1 seed end up
in a very close second round game against the winner of the 8/9 game,
who is usually a major conference squad with talent? I seem to remember
that scenario occurring quite frequently. Even if Kentucky ends up
winning this whole thing, I'll be shocked if they get through the
entire tournament without at least one scare, and this is as good of a
spot as any if you ask me. Aminu can use this game as a real showcase
for the multitude of NBA scouts and members of the public who should be
watching this matchup.
I mean, if what you are saying is true, and Kentucky is clearly the play, then how do we explain their game against Mississippi State? They should have blown those guys out, but instead, it was a nailbiter win for Kentucky.
In Kentucky's last five games, they didn't cover 9 against Mississippi State, Alabama, or Florida. Kentucky knows they are favored and didn't have any sort of challenge in their first game. Wake, on the other hand, went to OT and won it. Kentucky is in potentially a let down spot here, as all the press about them being the team to beat could very well get into their heads.
Plus, I can't ignore the potential for that head case DeMarcus Cousins to do something stupid during the game and get a technical (or maybe even get thrown out if Wake backers are lucky). That extra 1-2 potential points might end up being huge in the overall spread picture.
Remember, Wake doesn't have to win, just has to keep it within single digits.

I hear you on people trying to outsmart the book, but in no way can you compare this young Kentucky team to the veteran laden UNC squad from last year. Not even close. The Tarheels had way more experience. It may not happen in this game versus Wake but we have no idea how Kentucky will react when they are down and/or the pressure is on. I'll give you that they pulled it out against Miss St. in the SEC champ game but that was luck more than anything and they should have LOST that game. Kentucky will not cover every game in this tournament.
Carolina lost to a mediocre FSU in the FIRST round of ACC tourney last year. reference to Mississippi State game worthless. If anything, I think it helps motivate.
