I recently found myself in a debate over the term "one and done" while
discussing the chances of a team's probability to advance in a playoff
scenario. I had always understood the definition to mean a team winning
their first game, then losing their second. Hence, one AND done.
Someone else corrected me (or so they thought) by explaining that the definition to them actually means a team losing their first game. Playing one game AND done.
They said my definition was "two and done."
So, I ask you Covers community... What is your opinion on this term?
A) Winning the first game and losing the second game.
B) Losing the first game.
