Sal and rvm...  This problem had been addressed on an earlier thread. Based on numbers that Bando has on his space:

Bandos, judging from your data for the past 3 years, it makes sense for me to just use this chase for 2 games only. If the team continues on to a 6-game streak winning or losing then just let 'em go. This is going to prevent the outlier events from blowing howitzer size holes in your bankroll. There seems to be a statistical edge in betting those 4-streak and 5-streak teams based on sample sizes of 935 games and 411 games respectively. Using a 2-game chase only for those games, the 4-streak teams are 524-411 for a return of 71.9 units net wagering 1 unit ($110) on those. The 5-streak teams are 241-170 for a return of 108.0 units net wagering 2 units ($220) on those. 1346 games over 3 years is enough action (~450/year) for me and this eliminates having to bust out those 4/8/16 unit bets while still providing an adequate return for the effort. The fatal flaw in this system as it stands are those outlier events that just destroy capital in one swoop. Plus it eliminates the anxiety of placing those 8 unit bets, which let's face it, many of us (including me) won't have the cajones to do. I'm not putting 8 units on Duquesne to cover against Meadowbrook Middle School at this point. And even though the system says you must to retain the integrity of the system, it's all about making money while reducing risk and your numbers show that you can generate $ without having to ride any team that continues crappin' the bed.

Along with Santa Clara tonite you could throw on the over on Valparaiso and Loyola Maryland if you need action. Both are 4 streaks under.
