Both of these will be plays, but I'm waiting it out to see if the line kicks up to 4.5. Central Florida is flying in today due to some travel issues, so I'm hoping the public views this negatively and moves Creighton to a higher favorite. What a tale of three seasons for Central Florida. They flew out of the gates, beginning the year 14-0 before hitting a brick wall and losing their next 8. They were basically in a free fall and thoughts of a C-USA title and an at large berth to the Big Dance faded fast. They have since gone 7-3 and while an early exit in the Conf USA tourney is not a positive on the old resume, they seem to have regained some of the confidence they had early on the year.
Creighton is a tough out at home, but they will struggle with C. Florida's defense. Creighton has played three top 60 defenses this year and are 1-5 SU. Central Florida is ranked 43rd in terms of FG % defense. Creighton is 3-7 SU and 2-8 ATS in games following ones where they score 70+ points (OT games excluded).
Some additional motivation for Central Florida ....
Creighton's best player, 6-foot-7 freshman forward Doug McDermott, nearly ended up at UCF, but the Iowa native ultimately chose the Blue Jays. He was hosted during his recruiting trip by several UCF players.
I'm sure in the back of the minds of UCF players, they want to prove that he made the wrong decision.

Miami / Alabama UNDER 61 first half (32 units to win 30.48)
Miami has played six games vs. top 30 defenses and are 0-6 SU. They average 62 points in these games and 24 points in the first half of the road games. Alabama is ranked 8th in FG % defense and is hosting the Hurricanes tonight. Miami's offense appears to be clicking, but they just played home games against the 165th and 267th ranked defenses in terms of FG %. Stats which are overall and don't reflect how bad the defense of those teams are on the road. Now Miami travels to Alabama, a team who is 17-0 at home and is one of the to defenses in the nation especially at home. I see a frustrated Miami team at least in the first half and I don't think Bama will run away inthe first 20 minutes.
Leans : Bama -5, UNDER 130.5
