For everyone on the UConn train keep in mind... they are 7-4 on the road   1-3 on neutral courts.   1-5 vs the top 25 away from Connecticut.  Included in their 7 road wins...

3 point win at Central Florida
1 point win at Cinci (dodged 2 last second shots)
2 point win at Cuse (dodged a 3 at the end)
1 point win at Central Florida (buzzer beater to win)

USD is going to give UConn a serious run for their money in this one.  I would not feel confident at all if I was laying the 12.

um, not to offend frat kids, but frats are for people who can't make friends on their own. ok, maybe I meant to offend. I never liked any frat kids I met. I was an athlete.

 

There were just too many dumb frat parties where you had to be on a fucking list to get in. I mean, you are not that cool to have a list and a doorman.

By the way, i was always on a list if I wanted.

frat kids are generally losers... the best is when they try to fight kids 30 against 1 and then talk about how they kicked ass for the next 2 weeks.

What's funny about a 2 point win @ Syracuse? They will be a top 10 team next year with that talent and their only problem this year was their youth. Winning at Syracuse is nothing to laugh about.

I lean UConn -11.5 in this game, but won't be on it. Hopefully it hits for ya bad if you decide to play it. As long as UConn wins SU I'm happy.

Top 10 team next year?  Really?  I can't wait for this!!  Green is probably going to leave, Devandorf is trash, and Flynn is a decent rising player.  Top 10 might be pushing a little bit hard though.

I laugh because Cuse beat UVA by 2 with Devendorf while Singletary was out with the flu and all of their big men were injured.  That is nothing to be proud of

Regardless, I am not betting on this game, because I do think it could go either way very easily.  Just don't think it is a gauranteed UConn blowout, that is all I was trying to establish

If Green leaves they will of coarse not be a top 10 team, and even with him there top 10 might be pushing a bit, but it wouldn't shock me to see them there. They will contend for the BE title if everyone stays.

I agree that this game could go either way, and it doesn't interest me at all. San Diego could win SU, or UConn could win by 25.

How can Green even THINK about leaving????? I can't grasp that... 1) He has no ball-handle skills 2) He takes entirely way too many 3's... He's NOT a 3pt shooter..He needs to take it to the basket!! Devendouch AKA Eminem is garbage, agreed... Flynn will only get better, Im big on him..Harris came on strong and will also get better as long as he stays in college.. His game has a lot of polishing up to do.

Green is projected the 8th draft pick of 2009 right now.  Which means he would be a mid to late first rounder this year.  I think he stays because they didn't make the tournament so he couldn't showcase his skills and boost his draft stock to the entire country. 

Most likely he stays.

I can't believe the people on this board.

This is one of the worst matchups possible for SD. A team that cannot PLAY away from home, let alone win, coupled with the fact that they arent very athletic, in comparison with UCONN, and that they have serious mismatches all over the court, some helped by height and length some not. I just can't imagine putting hard earned money on a team that shot their load in the conference tourney.

But Thabeet will have 5+ blocks and this game will not be close. I bet when you saw that line you were like, oh my, look at those points.

i know arent the people on this board just crazy to think there could be an upset in march, i mean georgia only won 3 games in a row outright as 8-10 point dogs.

Green SHOULD NOT LEAVE.  He needs to refine his game a whole lot more... Flynn is more NBA ready than Green is right now.  Donte suffers from the Vince Carter disease (i.e. the guy thinks he can make a shot from anywhere, including taking 30 foot three pointers while being triple-teamed)

And Chase you're right, 'Cuse is going to be ridic next season... a young team that will be dominant for the next couple of years.  Just pray that Rick Jackson becomes half the low post presence that Onuaku is.

Re: San Diego, I'm taking the points... being in LA, I've seen them play a few times on TV and must say that they can play some serious D and play with a shit ton of heart.  Brandon Johnson is a true leader and a playa... the boy can shoot.  San Diego has zero inside presence but I think that's ok as I see Thabeet as more a defensive force than an offensive one.  I like the under as well since the only way San Diego can compete is to control the clock and work the shot clock down to ten before taking a shot.
