#1.maryland terps-4.5 winners of 6 straight and an overall record of 22-7 (16-9 ats) there last loss was feb 13th which they avenged there last time out against the best the acc has to offer  in Duke by 7,while on the other end of the spectrum virginia comes in losers of 8 str8, and has lost there last 6 by double digits( thats 10 or more points)  that alone has to show sometype of lack of effort. virginia has no postseason in site and the season cant be over fast enuff on the other hand maryland and duke or tied atop the acc at 12-3 and would love nothing more than to out do their hated rivals for the crown . one key thing that i have focused on is contribution from other players other than your star player and virginia against a weaker opponent in boston college had no player other than landesberg (who is still gimpy) take more than 6 shots while against duke maryland had 4 players take more than 8 shots . in my acessment its easier to stop one player than it is to stop a whole slew of them .bottom line maryland is still playing for something while virginia has lost there pride

When you're the No. 1 team in the country, everybody knows who you are." you'd think it was Darthmouth or something the way there talking about the #1 ranking its kinda been a jinx this season but if u look at it not really the same teams has been positioned at the top and your bound to lose a game or 2 how many games has kentucky lost they could easy still be #1 in any given season  or kansas with 2 loses, it has taken syracuse a long time to get to this point  and im betting a lot on it today they wont take it too lighty see the orangemen although a storied program for ages hasnt been #1 since 1990 and they'll be fired up today looking for revenge sure louisvilles gonna come out guns ablazing but there roster does excite me one bit when syracuse exit that tunnel today they'll feel the air the aura from being the best team that a lone will be good enough for me to think there gonna win, lousiville is miles apart from being ranked much less #1 team in the state of kentucky syracuse is bigger they rebound better they shoot better have better gaurds and there coach is better

west coast they play a different type of ball out there not bad or nothing just different

pac-10 is terrible thou no lie i catch a lot of late nights with them and shhhhhhhhhhhhh the league is sub .500
