1* 7-3
2* 2-2
3* 0-0
4* 0-0
5* 0-0
After the gambling gods blessed me on Tuesday night in the Portland St game, they got theirs back last night in missing the Creighton over by .5 and LMU by a .5 point. These are the breaks that Kurtis Blow must have been talkin about.
2* IU-Indy Jaguars -2.5
Based on what we saw the other night vs Ohio St, this Indy offense is gonna score on just about anybody. Now, it doesn't seem like they plan on stopping anybody either, but their offense is legit. I'd play the over, but I don't trust LIU to do their share of the lifting to get over 185.
1* Bethune-Cookman Wildcats +16.5
I wanted to take BCU the other night against Auburn, but couldn't pull the trigger. Lesson learned. This team added offense in the offseason, to a team that won 13 conference games, and returns a couple starters from that team. Miami struggled early in their game vs Jacksonville, pulling away late, but this BCU team is head and shoulders better than the Dolphins are.
1* Campbell/West Virginia Under 138.5
WVU is going to muck it up, much like they did on Tuesday night vs Mt St Marys, and turn this into a rock fight. Slow offense and lock down defense makes it tough for Campbell to get to 60, and I certainly don't think WVU is going to get close to 80. Campbell did bring in Coach Andrezejek from Florida to bring that style of ball to the Camel program, but that is going to take time and athletes, which as of right now, he has neither.
1* Auburn Tigers -23.5
Its not often I'll lay this many points, but this is going to be a legal rape. After Auburn got the wake up call from a good Bethune team, they will have their heads on straight, and that sucks for Merrimack who had a chance to win vs South Dakota St, but blew a lead late in the second half to lose by 9. The Jungle is a VERY tough place to play, and while the Tigers are certainly not what they were just a year ago, they should win this game by 30+.
1* Wright St/California Over 151.5
Not many teams in the country defended worse last year than Coach Sargents Raiders, and while that was their focus in the portal, things don't just change overnight. They still want to push the ball and try and score in transition, and California won't shy away from that. 85-70 kinda game for me.
Good luck today, even to the people that hate my pics, don't have picks of their own, but still come in here to read them for some reason. It's a wild time to be alive.
