This press has only gotten better each year since Huggy installed it. In their last 5 meetings with Texas Tech they have won by(from furthest to most recent)6, 11, 19, 14, 22.Those were against Tubby Smith coached teams. First year coach Chris Beard has inherited 6 seniors. They&#x27;ve seen this press before, and the team has experience. But Beard has changed their philosophy on offense. They run that slow a s s motion offense. This was the bomb with a longer shot clock where you&#x27;d work the defense to death until someone got open.Against WVU they will be spending half their time trying to get the ball out off the back court. That motion O will have only half a shot clock to work with at best. And in a game where you are most likely playing catch up, a slow tempo can be a killer.Devil&#x27;s advocate...West Virginia has also had a poor SOS. Yes, by the ratings and such they have. But they have quality wins vs good teams while obliterating the weaker comp.WVU is 2-0 suats on the road. Beating Virginia by 9, and Okie State by 17. Only 2 road games so far means that they are not road weary due to travel.*FYI that West Virginia future is now down to &#x2B;3300*they play Baylor in 8 days, can&#x27;t wait to see that one.BOLTA

I think I have to take my chances with the heavy public favorite also. And it&#x27;s not necessarily because of WVU defense but rather how much they attack the rim versus throwing up a bunch of jump shots. Not only does getting to the rim give you higher percentage shots but it will also open up kick out jump shots and 3&#x27;s. Not only did TT lose to auburn and Iowa state but did everybody forget about them only beating a very average Rice team by 1 point? Have to take my chances. Literally the only thing scaring me hear is WVU being a heavy public pick.

I look at West Virginia and gut reaction tells me to take them too.  I&#x27;ve been watching lines this morning and it keeps dropping...currently at -2.  More bets coming in on wv!! I know LINE movement isn&#x27;t everything, but I have this negative feeling and may stay away.  I respect your thoughts sac, what do you think?  -2 a gift?

West Virginia 1H -1.5(&#x2B;103) *1.94/2.0 unitsWVU is a much better first half team, I was going to lay of until supposed "sharps" hit tech.Huggy played a 6 man rotation vs Okie st, 3 guys are rested where he normally plays a 9 man rotation.Follow at your own risk, if you got a bad feeling then lay off. 3. Tennessee 1H -1(-110) *1.10/1 unit4. OVER 155.5(&#x2B;105) *.50/.52 unitsThe Vols come back home with some mojo winning their last 2 games on the road as dogs. I think we get some carry over from those wins plus some home cookin. They have also faced much tougher competition than Arky. I&#x27;m staying away from the full game for Arky is a great 2H team. Mike Anderson does a good job with adjustments at half.As for the total, I think we will see many trips to the charity stripe since both teams foul a lot and draw many fouls. Arky #9 in FTM per game, Tenn #8 in FTM per game. Both teams are pretty good on the offensive glass so we should see some second chance put backs. Only half a unit cause I&#x27;ve been having trouble finding a pulse on totals for a couple weeks now.BOLTA
