I picked South Carolina State to win this tournament. They’re riding an 11-game win streak, and at this point, it’s clear—they’re the team to beat in this conference.

Sure, Norfolk State has had a great season, earning the No. 1 seed for a reason. But their biggest flaw is their lack of three-point shooting, which will be a major issue against a team like SC State that can light it up from deep at any moment. If Norfolk State falls behind, they don’t have the firepower to shoot their way back into the game.

Yes, this game is being played in Norfolk, but it’s not at Norfolk State’s home arena, so the home-court edge isn’t as strong as it looks on paper. When it comes down to talent, momentum, and offensive versatility, SC State is the better team—and in my opinion, the best team in this conference.

Looking forward to this game. I follow the MEAC and both their games came down to the wire. The earlier one in Norfolk actually went into OT. Both teams won on their home floor but teams are very evenly matched. To your point on Norfolk they shot 2/16 at home from 3 pt range the last time they played and somehow still won in OT. 

You are also correct in the Spartans play in Memorial Hall and this game is at The Scope. Lots of fans from all over come to the Meac tourney. 

Im actually gonna try to live bet this game after I catch a team on a run of sorts and go the other way I i do believe it goes down to the wire again. 

Bulldogs end the half on a 15-4 run. Don't forget the OT loss to Norfolk i mentioned in my earlier post was the last time SC St lost: that was 43 days ago. 

11 game winning streak for the Bulldogs looking to punch their ticket. I'd love to see him punch their ticket, they haven't made the field of 64 since 2003. 

All that being said i do believe The Spartans make this a game and cover the current in game line of +6.5
