Oklahoma State @ Stanford thoughts?

Oklahoma State @ Stanford

These two teams are almost identical for an over under total thats stood still all day.  Both teams are close in the following categories:

Oklahoma State  is 16th in turnover percentage offensively and 4th in steals against

Stanford is 6th in turnover percentage offensively and 13th in steals against.

Stanford is 305 in offensive rebounding but 26th in defensive rebounding

Oklahoma St is 287 in offensive rebounding and 16th in defensive rebounding...

Neither team gets to the line 115th or worst...

If there aren't any offensive boards and their aren't many second shots do we think the total will stay under???

Neither team utilizes there bench too well..I'm thinking UNDER here..

I have several systems, all of them show this under the number(146)....not by a lot; but totals just work that way.. I  get 141, 141, 143..... so I am leaning to the under... and if I play a side; its OSU or no play..

I put a play on the under and my thoughts are that both teams must shoot well.  Can this happen?  Absolutely, but there shouldn't be too many easy second shots or layups off of defensive steals.  The tempo should be anywhere from 66 to 69   I have my number at 140. 

Play:  Under 145

1/2 on under 145

1/2 on Cowboys +2.5

Your observation is correct, in my opinion... however; I think the offensive efficiencies of both of these teams combined with their pace clearly indicates a deliberate offensive attach by both teams tonight.... I see slightly higher numer of shots going down and very few offensive rebounds or even post shot possessions (not a lot of 2nd chances)... The net result of that is a lot of clock burning..... 

If there is a black box to pick winners; it would have those forumlae inside the box someplace IMHO

So until we find that holy graile; we just gotta pull winners out of our (_o_)
