Well a nightmare , sunday 2-6 0-1 teaser no excuses , had some bad luck maybe with the very close losses but in Basketball you will have that happen a lot more than in FB kind of crazy but that is the truth, it amazes me sometimes how many games can be won or lost by a half pt or 1 point, in a game with so many shots being taken but thats how it is, and if your lucky enough to be on the right side of those close ones can really help your year, being on the wrong side can destroy it sometimes .... ytd 254 - 199
today we have all the really small schools playing, hey they need a day to showcase the small schools, and what better time than during NFL monday night football, in the playoffs
one game i am looking into today is New Orleans at SE Louisiana both these schools are 5-11 str up....N.O. is 6-10 ats and SEL is 8-7 ats and N.O. is 11-5 o/u, and SEL is 6-9 o/u
one thing i like to do with small schools is look at the rosters and see who is back from last year, we are in conf games now so these teams play each other 2 times a year and maybe 3 ...both teams are 3-4 in conf so far this year...both teams are coming off a loss, now i do not see SEL's 3rd conf win i only see 2 ...so whatever..lol
these 2 played twice last year with SEL winning both games, each team covered, now this year N.Orleans has 3 players averaging double digits in scoring, and SEL has just one, in both wins last year SEL had 2 players who did most of the scoring Sam Hines jr, and Jakevion Buckley....now Sam Hines has graduated and Jakevion well he has went to play for New Orleans, yes he is now one of the top scorers for N.O. so that should make this interesting, New Orleans has much more firepower just looking they do score much more, and i am favoring them tonight on the road here getting 2.5 -3.5 ....now i like the fact that the best player from one team has went to the other, and that they seem to have the better offense, also in this game the OVER seems like it could hit , the total is only 141.5 i mean N.O. does give up close to 80 a game but can SEL score 73+ away N.O. averages 71 a game and gives up 81 and at home SEL averages 65 and gives up 68 so this total looks like its going to be close....last e games N.O is avg 76 a game and giving up 79 SEL just 61 pts a game 66 on defense i do like New Orleans + the points and it comes down to do i think N.O. can score 75 if they do this should go over unless SEL just does not score ...New Orleans shoots as well away as SEL does at home and N.O. should control the boards as they average 37 reb's to 29 11 offensive to 6 last 3 games New orleans is avg 14 offensive boards a game to 7 for SEL , maybe there is a reason the best scorer from SEL last year is now on N.O.
some trends SEL is 3-0 OVER as a favorite, 2-0 OVER as a home fav, N.O. is 8-4 Over as a dog, 7-5 Over away, 7-4 over as an away dog, and 3-1 over on 1 day off , SEL is 2-1 over on 1 day off makes the over tempting at just 141 ,
Looking at the line movements for this game posted at vegas insider, it shows SEL opening at -1.5 143.5 yesterday, then at 11:47 last night the line moved to New Orleans -1.5 142.5 then at 9am this morning it went back to SEL -1.5 and at 10am -2.5 then just a half hour ago the total dropped to 141.5
i might wait a little bit since its going up to see if i can get a better line
