sorry guys im having a terrible last couple days a buddy of mine subscribes to kenpom and we unloaded on kansas on monday and nova yest both royaly bent us over ku wasnt as bad cuz they were losing all game but nova yest wow that was brutal i shuldnt have taken it out on the forum just saying the first time we used kenpom rankings ever and we got screwed my appologies jfen and eddie winslow

Im confused by this, if you used kenpom you should've bet the other way on both games. Kenpom had Kansas as a 1 pt favorite in that game. So if your book is giving you +5 to West Viriginia (and you're using kenpom) then the value was on WV. Same with Villanova, they had the line at 16, but you were getting 17.5, so you take the value play in Depaul.

How about from this point moving forward(since there's plenty of time) we start talking about the matchups on the floor.
Styles make fights baby, who's got the edge and where? What weaknesses can be exploited by the opposing coaches?
Grayson Allen is on fire from the arc, how does Virginia defend the arc?
Luke Kennard is the definition of "glue" Great off of screens, quick to dish or stop n pop. Does Virginia run zone? Can they afford to pass him off to other defenders. Or if they man up how will the screen game work?
Those are just a few things that we should discuss.
My only thoughts so far(ultra preliminary) are that I would want to back the team who will out rebound the other, and who will play tougher D. Looking at fouls pg/opp fouls per game and FT% is a must in this one.
