News this afternoon has been if he can go he will. If not then he wont. Could go either way. Look at what Rondo did in the NBA last year in the playoffs. Enuff said.

May not be thatttt easy, but the nice thing about Carolina, is that if one guy goes down, there are other very athletic players that can take the injured guys load and make up for it... against Ohio, I don't see the absence of Marshall being a problem... still expect a DD win tho for sure... now, in the Elite 8 and beyond, that's where it will hurt Carolina... against Kansas, Ohio St, Syracuse, Baylor, and Kentucky... those teams will be trouble

I live in the triangle and still hearing he could play. I think if the team is smart they will hold him out. Why risk his playing career for a few games in the tourney.

Justin Watts is going to be playing, not Stillman White. Also, for the idiot up there, Zeller is a senior, so he has to go by NCAA rules. I also would have gladly laid 10.5 points with Marshall in the line up. Talent shows up in the NCAA tourny and you were seeing that with Kentucky and UNC. I felt it was destined to be those two matched up in the championship game.
I'm not a UNC fan or hater, just a neutral observer, but c'mon. Justin Watts? The same Justin Watts that has started two games in four seasons? He's an undersized forward with limited passing ability and mediocre athleticism. Sure, he has a little experience in NCAA tournament games, but was never asked to be a facilitator, let alone the primary point guard replacing the best passer in the country. Oh, and people are still shitting on Ohio, but this team thrives on turnovers. They're not going to sit back and play defense from the 3-point line and in. You're going to see Cooper, Stevie Taylor, Offutt, etc pressing from end-to-end for 40 minutes and jamming passing lanes in the halfcourt set. Henson, Zeller, Barnes...Great players. But they're accustomed to being set up by a truly elite point guard. Who gets them the ball? Where is the flow? Transition game? You may not want to admit it, but this is a monumental challenge for UNC.

The kid finished the game with that injury. if they can get to the final four, he will play.
ummmmm, no he didn't. he played for a few minutes and then asked out of the game at the under 8:00 timeout. the rest of the game, 2.5 minutes - just missed.
