UC Irvine was up 13 and crusing, then Cal State Fullerton went to a full court press and UC Irvine struggled.  The lead was cut to 4 and Irvine was called for charging.  So Cal State had the ball  down by only 4 points with 8 seconds left.  Cal State committed a violation while inbounding the ball.  On the ensuing inbound play, UC Irvine finally threw over top of the zone and went in for a layup, they got fouled and made the free throw.  Cal State missed their desperation 3 pointer and bang... we cover.

Note:  (For anyone who had UC Irvine -3.5 in the first half we were almost equally as unlucky...Irvine was up 5 and holding for the last shot... they turned the ball over with seconds left.... Cal State missed their shot and tapped it in on a buzzer beater to cut the lead to 3.
