Normally I would be on a team like Indiana State in this situation. Revenge Game from last season where they lost at home to Northern Illinois by 10 (67-57) as -17.5 point favorites. But....
They're coming off a double revenge victory situation against Bradley. Indiana State lost to Bradley in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Semifinals and lost to them at home earlier last season. So they were able to exact some revenge by beating Bradley last game on the road.
In my opinion this is a little bit of a letdown spot. I understand Northern Illinois beat them last year as huge underdogs in their building and they want to return the favor but it's already priced in the line.
I have this game power-rated Indiana State -3.5 so were getting good line value. Northern Illinois is coming off a double digit loss as well.
I believe both teams will be locked in and focused but Northern Illinois plays well at home and I believe they have a great opportunity to upset Indiana State again.
Final score 83-80.
