Davidson +31 in pt differential, +3 for home game. Line should be -34, but is instead -21, I imagine everybody is on Davidson, so play should be Chattanooga.

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THE POINTS PART OF THE SYSTEM. I GUESS WHERE MYSELF AND SOME OTHERS ARE CONFUSED IS WHEN THE PUBLIC HAS WELL OVER 55% ON THE FAVORITE (example Drake..75% last night) AND YOU STILL TAKE THE DOG (congrats btw). WHEN IN THE INITIAL THREAD IT STATES TO STAY AWAY. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR A RESPONSE.

the point I believe is to identify where spreads might be set to lure heavy public money and to be the opposite in this case as it's possibly a "trap" type of scenario

I think what he is saying is when it is lower than it should be that most will take what looks easy and take the fav, but that's when you take the dog. When it looks too high and most are taking the dog, you take the fav.
But if it is low and everyone is on the dog, you take the fav. Same if it is high.

Serious question, I have the whole numbers part figured out. My question is which side to play. I guess no matter if the added numbers are under the given spread or over the given spread ...you bet AGAINST the public...unless the favorite is around 55% then you play the favorite?
SanFran +4.5 would then be a play? I ran the numbers earlier on Chatanooga and it looks like that's a win...
