No one may be playing better than Florida recently, they've been handling their business since a home loss to Auburn. The Horns had won 5 in a row before a road loss @ Georgia where the Dawgs shot the lights out.
This is a huge game for Texas, they need a big win, they're flirting with not dancing in March. That certainly doesn't guarantee anything, we all know that. But they can put the ball in the basket, they shoot nearly 50% from the field and a respectable 75% from line, the line they get to nearly 26 times per game. 6'8" guard Dailyn Swain can do it all and is a matchup nightmare while 7 footer Matas Vokietaitis is legit, 16 ppg, 7 rpg. He'll have his hands full with the 3 headed frontline monster of the Gators led by one of my favorite players Thomas Haugh, he'll be a star in the NBA one day, he's a beast.
The Gators aren't perfect though, I've seen them several times this season, they can struggle at the FT line and the 3 point line, only 30% from there, and can get sloppy with the ball, 12 TOs per game.
Texas, who has struggled on defense, is going to have to bring some energy tonight, @ home you know it will be a raucous crowd for this matchup with the defending champs. It's been a little too easy for Florida these last 7 games, they've been on cruise control and it's just not that easy every game especially in conference OTR. I look for Texas to bring that energy tonight, especially on defense, make Florida shoot from the outside where they can struggle, create some TO's where the Horns can get some easy baskets. I'm backing the home boyz' to fight tonight, backs to the wall and keep it close.
HORNS +7.5, -110 HRB
As always good luck toall!

good luck. I can't go against Florida as you said "nobody playing better". They are also 7-1 ATS on the road this season. I do think Texas being at home can keep it close but those favorites on the road dropping 7.5 this year have been really solid. Will be cheering for the thread
