ALRIGHT FOLKS, TOOK A LITTLE BREAK AFTER THE AWFUL BOWL SEASON 10-24 ATS 17-17 SU......YIKES
HOW IS GTOWN -6.5 NOT THE PLAY TONIGHT??? HONESTLY CAPPED THIS ONE AT GTWON AT LEAST A -9.5 FAVE....SETON HALL VERY OVERRATED TEAM WITH 1 MARQUEE WIN (CINCINATTI?)
THE HOYAS PLAY THE PIRATES AT HOME THEN THE NEXT TWO ON THE ROAD AT NOVA AND PITT. THEY MUST GET THIS GAME TO STAY IN TOP MIX TO CONTEND FOR BIG EAST TITLE...
HOYAS BY DOUBLE DIGITS....GOOD LUCK ALL

I actually like the Pirates tonite (I am a Seton Hall fan, but I usually don't bet on them). You say that G'Town needs this game for any chance to contend for the Big East title. I personally don't think that team is good enough to do so, but I see how it could be a motivating factor with the two road games coming up. However, Seton Hall started 0-3 in the Big East, and they have a sense of desperation as well, as the team had NCAA hopes at the beginning of the season, and a 1-4 conference start paired with a weak OOC schedule could bury them. I'm sure they realize the importance of a road win at a ranked team and will be ready. I actually think from a situational perspective Seton Hall is a stronger play, as G'Town may be looking ahead.
Also, Seton Hall lost by 8 at UConn, 6 vs. WVU, and 7 vs. Cuse and were in good position in the second half of all of those games. If they play a complete game they have the capability of staying with anyone.
I'm taking the 6 points, but take it for what its worth, because I never put to much stock when a fan of a team bets on his team. Good luck.

Gonna go the other way. Georgetown is overrated every year at the beginning of the season and a win over Uconn doesn't impress me that much considering how they look this year. If Jeremy Hazell gets hot, which he is more than capable of, I could see the pirates winning this one straight up.
Seton Hall +6.5 is the play for me.
