  Fresh off their 2025 national championship, the UConn Huskies are continuing to reload.

Former USC guard Kayleigh Heckel announced Tuesday she has committed to UConn out of the transfer portal, helping shore up the Huskies' backcourt following the graduation of star Paige Bueckers.  

  A decision on whether or not to expand the NCAA men's and women's basketball tournaments will be made in the upcoming weeks, sources told ESPN.

If the decision is made to expand, the expansion would begin in this coming 2025-26 season

What expansion plan are we talking about here? Will they increase the number of games for each team?

Beginning this season, Big 12 Women's basketball teams will submit availability reports the night before conference games, listing players as either available, game-time decision or out. Final reports are due 90 minutes before the start of each game.

MADISON, Wis. -- Five former Wisconsin women's basketball players have filed a lawsuit saying they received psychological abuse from former Badgers coach Marisa Moseley and that the university responded with "a policy of laissez-faire inaction."

The lawsuit was first reported by the Wisconsin State Journal.

Moseley announced in March that she was resigning for personal reasons. She went 47-75 in four seasons.

The Tennessee Lady Volunteers have suspended fourth-year guard Ruby Whitehorn indefinitely following her recent arrest on felony charges of domestic assault and aggravated burglary.

Whitehorn started 28 of 34 games last season for the Lady Vols and ranked fourth in scoring with 11.6 points a game. 

She helped Tennessee go 24-10 in coach Kim Caldwell's debut season.

USC star JuJu Watkins will sit out the 2025-26 college basketball season as she continues to recover from a right ACL tear that she suffered in the second round of the NCAA tournament, she announced Sunday.

Watkins averaged 23.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.2 steals as a sophomore on her way to winning multiple player of the year awards and becoming a two-time first-team All-American. At 20 years old, she's already widely considered to be a top WNBA prospect.

The NCAA Division I Administrative Committee on Wednesday adopted a proposal to allow student-athletes and athletic department staff to bet on professional sports.

There are no odds on these WNCAA games at my outs, at least not yet. Likely to see them in January during conference games. Bet365 has just one game available today: FSU @VT and that one is a coin-flip. I do see an early game up for LIVE betting right now though so we shall see if more become available for LIVE betting later today...
