Florida Man Futures

Not making any plays today but made a few smaller wagers on some odds that I see as nice values. All would also create some nice hedging opportunities down the stretch.

To Win Championship

Michigan State: 30:1 (.5 unit to win 15 units)

No. 1 ranked defense in efficiency on KenPom.  Last 5 national champions have had top 20 defenses in Defensive Efficiency on KenPom.  Kp’s #7 overall team.

St Louis: 125:1(0.15 unit to win 18.75 units)

Quietly has a top 20 defense and offensive metrics are greatly improving (currently 47 of 365).  Robbie Avila, of course, but the metrics on Amari Mccortey are jumping off the charts as well and could be a March difference maker.

NC State: 125:1 (.1 unit to win 12.5 units)

No. 27 offense and No. 34 defense, and they’re improving under first year coach Will Wade. They don’t turn the ball over, and shoot really well. If defense continues to improve, they will be a tough out.

Clemson: 125:1 (0.15 unit to win 18.75 units)

No. 14 ranked defense and offensive metrics on the rise.  Have won 10 of 11.

To Make Final 4

Wisconsin: 40:1 (.1 unit to win 4 units)

John Blackwall is a stud and I am seeing shades of a young Dwyane Wade, when he led Marquette to final 4 almost 25 years ago.  Younger players on this team are looking much better.

Sounds like if you did make a play it would be on MSU given matchup and your vision for them and that they CRUSH Michigan at home going 7-3 both SU and ATS over the past 10, with 7 of those playing to the under.  Good luck with your futures

 Tough game tonight, but if they do win, their title odds will likely increase, so see nice opportunity to lay that future before tonight’s game. Not betting tonight’s game, but if I did, it would be on Sparty.

gl brother  like the thinking on st louis  if they keep playing like they are, i think they will not get respect and will be like a 5-6 seed and will cause huge problems if they get to the 2nd game  if they end up playing a 3-4 seed they could win  very good team  even like them tonight over dayton, Dayton has beat them last 4 times they have played, and if they can win tonight by 10 + its going to help them bigtime   many will be on dayton tonight i think  id like to get -8  i think they win this by 10+ though  at home they need to
