I will say that I won 4.5 UNITS yesterday but didn't get a chance to post. I mention that to say that maybe the bad days are behind me for awhile.
Today:
Under 132.5 Florida/Louisville (1 UNIT) - I just can’t bet against the Cards in this one. They are making games ugly and Florida showed against Marquette that they will settle into a half court game if needed. They are riding a wave of momentum. They are winning on the defensive end and they will try and do that again today. Florida has defended very well since the SEC tournament with only Kentucky scoring more than 63 points against them in their last 5. I think Donovan will stress to his team that the reason they are here is because they have improved on the defensive end and they will need to do that again today with the Louisville defense playing so well. Florida’s guards do a great job of taking care of the ball and that means that Louisville will be limited in getting points off of turnovers. Louisville’s interior defense is great and if Florida had been shooting the ball better I would be all over the Gators but I think Louisville can extend their defense and rely on their shot blocker in the middle to effect shots. This game will end in the upper 50’s or low 60’s IMO and that will be enough to cover the number here. I do believe that you could hold out until tipoff and see if you can get another half point or maybe a full point to play with.
LEAN Florida -1
Ohio State -3 and OVER 135 (1 UNIT each) - The loss of Melo will be felt here and the fact that Ohio State has shot the 3PT shot so well of late and they should be able to get their second chance points leads me to believe that Ohio State will be too much to handle today. I do like the way Syracuse scored the other night and believe that continues today in a very entertaining game.
