I'm not even sure if there is gonna be a line out for this game -- I really, really hope there is though. Our only chance is that because it's UCLA, the books with throw us a bone and give us a line for some action on this game. Please take a look at my breakdown of the Santa Clara-CSUB game that I took in from courtside seats.
CSUB has extremely athletic guards and a solid big man named Santwan Latunde, nice footwork and a big body that gets good position. Latunde is a lefty as well, so many guys have trouble adjusting to that on the defensive end in the post.
What I'm ultimately trying to say is if there's a line on this game, I'm gonna be pounding CSUB on it. Yes, the game is in Pauley, but there is no reason that CSUB can't do what CSUF did earlier this week. I'd guess the line would come out like UCLA -22 or something sick like that. If that's the case, I'm gonna take the 22 and pound it.
Might also be value in the moneyline for that game as well, which is sick considering it would have to be above +1200 I'd hazard to guess.
Just wanted to give all my fellow CBB covers brothers a heads up on a game coming up this Friday that might be a profitable spot for everyone.

good work. pac 10 lines are always off in my opinion. espn has oregon as a sleeper team that could make the tournament, and while i don't agree even though I go to U of O, they always get much more credit because of recent success than they should. I really hope we're only single digit dogs to your bruins, wash and cal, cause they're going to run us out of the gym. Unless Teondre Williams and my buddy Garrett Sim play better than I anticipate.
BOL though kapono, look forward to someone else with Pac 10 knowledge

Kaponofor3...kaboom! whats up brah? I have not bet much on football this year, but college hoops are back! Hopefully I can keep last years success rolling! I admit I have not done enough HW on this year yet, but now is the best time to start! I would have pounded Idaho at Utah had I been paying attention.
Two games I am looking at today, Utah St. @ Utah, and UNR @ UNLV.
I like Utah St. 4 returning starters, and always a quality coached team. Utah has 8 new players and just lost at home to Idaho, who will contend with Utah St and Nevada for the WAC title IMO. A quick drive for Utah St fans to Salt Lake as well. Utah wants to run, but defending Utah St's sets is always a hard thing to do.
UNR @ UNLV: I was hoping this opened up near double digits for UNLV so I could play UNR. UNLV has pretty much a totally new team, and they still do not rebound well, and the bigs are still not very good. I think UNLV will be much better later in the season, but Kruger never puts in much early, and they are actually trying to run and press for the first time since Kruger has been here. IF UNR's big three show up, UNR might be able to steal the game, but that is a big if for a team that is only 7 or 8 deep. The line has gone up 1 point so far, so I might wait and see how high it goes here and they play Nevada.
Your thoughts?

I'll be at the game Kap... totally agree with your post... haven't seen a UCLA team this weak in a while. Post play will be a major concern as are turnovers. Saw UCLA get out boarded in the block constantly save for a few bright spots from Reeves. Keefe played timid I thought and the offense looked sloppy. Bruins leaned hard on Michael Roll, especially early on. It was obvious that Dragovic is nothing more than a compliment. He is real soft and you can tell that he just wants to shoot and not take it inside.

Do you know if any books had it up? And if so, what was the line? I was really curious as I definitely woulda taken a chance w/ the ML. Figured if upsets happen, they'll happen now w/ the books not caught up yet.
