I don't know how on paper you don't slam the shit out of University of St. Thomas. I mean the Tommies have bulldozed the Summit League this year and even won at a very high clip on the road. But some how we see they are only laying 5.5 points. That seems a little odd. The Yotes used to be a tough place to play in because they played in a football stadium and there was no shooters back drop. Now they have their own basketball stadium like anyone else and in my opinion lost a little competitive edge as it relates to the stadium aspect.
Yotes have been pretty abysmal. After this game they play their arch rivals South Dakota State University Jackrabbits on Saturday in Vermillion. A classic look ahead game. The only thing that actually points in the Yotes fav is that they never and I mean never lost to the Tommies. At home or away. Period.
I am going to take a stab here and be a contrarian. Obviously overwhelmingly the current trends are against the Yotes but sometimes you gamble. I have a feeling the Yotes know that a win tonight and on Saturday puts them right in the mix with the Summit League. Back to back home loses to these two teams and their conference championship hopes are over.

I honestly don't think the points matter. Either they put it all together and win going away tonight or they get crushed. So might as well take the +215.

if you feel it’s a coin flip, why not bet something you’re more confident in.
also what does beint a graduate of the school have to do with anything?

I am gambling. I made it very clear. Normally I would be all over the Tommies. And they might still be the right side. I follow the Summit League very closely. I am merely giving my analysis. Take it over leave it. No hard feelings either way. Being a graduate of the school only again suggests I follow these teams closely.

@jesron1269 I thought you went to South Dakota St b/c their the jackrabbits
I lived in Brookings (city where South Dakota State University is located) for 18 years. Was a season ticket holder. Also follow them closely (I expect them to win tonight but 10.5 points I will pass - maybe play at half if I get a good line). But no I went to the University of South Dakota. For both undergraduate and law school.

why would you choose to go to South Dakota over South Dakota state when you lived there 18years? Seems like your passion with with the Jackrabbits

I was born and raised (for the most part) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Went to the University of South Dakota for my undergraduate and law degrees. Upon graduation I moved to Brookings, South Dakota where the Jackrabbits moved up to BCS D1 and the Coyotes stayed down with D2. For 5-7 years I got to love and admire the Jackrabbit way of doing things, became a season ticket holder and booster, a lot of the players (such as for instance Dallas Goedert) coached my kids in summer baseball, flag football and so on and so on. I was hard not to love the Jackrabbits. Then the Coyotes moved up to D1 to compete with the Jacks and I just remain a Jacks fan to the disapproval of my classmates, friends and family (such is life we all make choices right).
