Ok, been a while since I've posted on here. But I have a gift for you.
I haven't watched WVU or even know the line of this WVU/Okstate game. But there is some things you should know.
1. Gallagher Iba Arena is hands down the hardest place to play in the country when it is full and people care.
2. For some reason.... I haven't figured out, this game has been hyped by the university. It is a 3pm Friday game and people are asking me for tickets, which hasn't happened in 10 years.
3. The past few seasons, even with marcus Smart, support has been atrocious... UNLESS we are playing KU. As you may or may not know... Travis Ford and his terrible teams have beaten KU many times at home with crappy teams, ALL BECAUSE of GIA magic.
Today, it is supposedly sold out. Underwood and the boys are pretty salty bunch. THIS GAME WILL BE THE ROWDIEST IN THE PAST 10 YEARS. Whatever the line is.... you should really really really really consider taking Okstate. We are going to come out firing on all cylinders, and yes I know Huggins and the 'Neers are really good this year, but they are walking into a death trap today IMO.
Some worried about the amount of fouls that will be called.... which I would agree with in any other game. But this one will be so loud and rowdy, the refs will be influenced. I've seen it happen many times before in GIA. The refs start calling ticky tack fouls, then the fans get rabid and turn on the refs... then the refs are influenced and let them play. If you don't believe this happens in college... maybe you should start believing it.
Yes I am a huge okstate fan. But thought I'd pass the information along. If you don't want to bet osu, I'd lay off entirely. It will be a hell of a game.
