I probably should change my avator because the majority of you will think I am homer. But when it comes to AL basketball I could really careless. Put so much effort into the football season that basketball comes to quickly afterwards and could careless.
Now with that said. I do think AL tomorrow has good value against KY. AL coming off a horredous performance last night. I think Grant may be able to get this team motivated. AL has a little talent if they could just shoot half way decent one game. I just think this game is one of those classic buy low / sell high games.
Think AL is the play here.

I agree although I am also an Alabama Grad. This team usually plays to they're competition but last night their performance was just dreadful. I don't know why we don't full court press anymore ala last year. I think we should.
I also think people underestimated Chris Hines' departure. (myself included) We are often times abused on the boards. While Jacobs is a 'good' freshman contributor he is far from a bruiser. Hines provided much needed rebounds & a quite leadership which is obviously needed on this team.
With that said, I do think this team will play hard tomorrow. Again, they generally play to their competition. Furthermore, they will likely enjoy a 'real' college basketball environment rather than the dull one in Tuscaloosa.
Final thoughts:
There is value in Alabama after being smoked by Vandy but is playing 'hard' going to cover the spread?
We shall see.
